Admissions:

It was based on merit list put up by the college. No entrance exam was there. The 12th standard score has to be 90% or above.

Placements & Internships:

The companies which hire Jai Hind and the alumni are from KPMG, Delloite, EY etc. Also, there are students with their own successful start-ups.

Admissions:

The admission was purely on merit basis And the typical cut off were generally above 90% in 12th standard.

Academics & Faculty:

The classes for FYBA begins at 7:30 am. The method of teaching is really good, and also the teachers are really helpful. The college crowd is amazing.

Fees and Scholarship:

The course fee very affordable. Ranging up to INR 7K a year. Scholarships are also provided and a lot of students get scholarships.

Placements & Internships:

Placement cell is active and the companies that hire are pretty good and the salary is decent.

Admissions:

There was no entrance exam as such for this course. The cutoff for general category is high. The last cutoff for the course was 89%.

Academics & Faculty:

My course timings are from 7:30 AM in the morning to maximum 1:30 PM. The timings also avail you opportunities for internships for the rest of the day. Teaching method includes chalk and talk as well as projectors for better understanding. We have AC classrooms as well as network jammers in each class to avoid distractions during lectures.

Fees and Scholarship:

The fee for my course is INR 6500 per ammum and the fees is affordable and reasonable. There are a lot of scholarship options available.

Placements & Internships:

Jai hind has a separate placement cell as well as a website and it helps you to get internships right from the very first year. Big MNCs are Associated with Jai hind colleges.

Admissions:

My course is BA Economics and Jai Hind has majorly 2 categories i.e BA Economics or BA psychology. The admission process was very simple to follow. There are no specific entrances to be given. After the Maharashtra boards result is out, all the colleges under MU release their forms on a specific date along with a pre-decided submission date for the forms. There are usually 4 cutoff lists. Which range from higher 90s to lower 80s.

There is various association of students and various clubs. All kind of festivals is celebrated here. College life is the best phase of life

College Infrastructure:

There is no hostel in Jai Hind College as such. You can avail hostels nearby. Canteens and cafeteria food are the best.

Academics & Faculty:

Usual college timings, Proper schedule of lectures, Good quality in method of teaching, Overall very good experience

Fees and Scholarship:

Course fees varies from courses. However it's very normal and not too high. No need of loans as such

Placements & Internships:

Various companies and even corporations give placements to Jai Hind College students along with good annual salary

Admissions:

Eligibility was majorly based on marks. Admission procedure was smooth. Cut offs are high

  • There are many festivals like Detour, Shakespeare, Jai Hind music cafe festival that are organized by Jai Hind College.
  • Apart from that, there are other departments which organize festivals like Entourage, Talash, etc.
  • There is a music club and a drama club at Jai Hind.
College Infrastructure:
  • There are no hostels associated with the college but there are many PGs around with affordable rents.
  • The food in the college is great. Everything from non veg rolls, rice and burgers to Veg dosas, idlis and fried rice is available at low prices.
  • The infrastructure is commendable.
Academics & Faculty:

The class timings are different for all days of the week. There are a lot of interesting projects given to us. We've made 3 short movies in the past 1 year. The quality and method of teaching is great.

The fees for BMM in Jai Hind College is quite affordable. It ranges from Rs 17,000 to Rs 25,000 in all the 3 years.

Internship opportunities are available.

  • A student's class 12th board results decide his/her admission in Jai Hind College.
  • The cut off ranges between 93% to 95%.
  • Sindhi students, as well as students belonging to Schedule castes, schedule tribes, other backward classes, the ward of an army personality, have an advantage over others as they are backed by respective quotas.

  • Average package is of Rs 300,000 per year and about 70% of batch gets placed.
  • Alumni network is pretty.

  • I do not remember.
  • No one got scholarship.
  • Don't know about the loans.

  • Daily routine is not fixed, class timings are not fixed.
  • Quality is okay and method is good.

  • Talaash, Entourage and Detour are the annual festivals of BMS, BBI and BMM departments respectively.

 

 

College Infrastructure:
  • The canteen of Jai Hind college is above average, serves good delicacies at almost affordable prices.
  • Well, the infrastructure is quite up to the mark. Even though, there isn’t a huge campus, it’s well maintained and cleaned regularly. Good classrooms, comfortable benches, and well equipped library with books of all possible subjects, gives a thumbs up to the overall infrastructure of Jai Hind College. As Jai Hind is located right next to Marine Drive, there are hundreds of expensive restaurants like Pizzeria, Indian Summers, Café Mocha and Relish.

  • Courses fees depends upon a particular course and fees changes every year
  • Loans may or may not be required. 
Academics & Faculty:

 

  • Well, the lecturers at Jai Hind are pretty good, atleast the students are satisfied with their teaching. Professors of Science and Commerce department have detailed knowledge about their subject and are co-operative, at times. Most of the communication takes place in English but some teachers become extra friendly during lecture hours and start off with Hindi.
