There was nothing as such. I mean so called societies. Main festivals were marine day and Christmas on the campuses. College was good.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
7/10

For hostels there is a huge building of 8 storey with massive area and it has single rooms in which 4 students can easily accommodate. Washrooms were as big as anyone can imagine. But water is the main problem over there. Classrooms were good, labs were perfect and rest everything were as per expectation. There are no options outside the premises. Food and lodging and course fee is included in the course fees.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY
8/10

We use to have classes from  9 am to 5 pm with one hour of break in the middle. Whatever is required to execute the quality learning all techniques is present there. Thew way of teaching and the lab sessions which helps you to learn all sort of technical and fundamental aspects of subject were available. All in all it was above exapectations.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

  • The only program that takes place here is maritime day and the cultural events related to this.
  • Ragging is taking place inside the college.
  • Generally, the life in this college is very bad and I recommend no students to join in this college

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
5/10
  • There is only one hostel with almost 650 rooms and the fee is included in the total fee.
  • The food in the college is poor and even the local residents dont like the food provided here
  • Classrooms are of good quality and in the lab, most of the equipment won't work properly. No wifi at college and the dining halls are not that good also.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY
1/10
  • Every student has to stay in the hostel and its compulsory, class starts at 9 in the morning till 4:50 pm with 8 periods and lunch break from 1 to 2.
  • The teaching at IMA is of poor quality and the teachers are new and barely know how to teach.
  • The head of our department will make the students fail for no reason and nothing can be done.
  • The standards set by the college is quite low.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP
3/10
  • Per year the course fee is INR 8.5 lakh at IMA
  • At present no scholarship is given to students and only external scholarships are availed
  • Loans are needed due to the high fee but are difficult to get in India because there is no entrance exam for joining college.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK
1/10
  • No stipend or internships from IMA
  • No campus selection even though they promise campus selection and placements
  • No placement in my college
  • A very poor alumni network

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
  • Any person having PCM more than 45% can enter this college for Bsc nautical science
  • There are no entrance exams in this college
  • There are no specific cutoffs at IMA college
