There is altogether 10 boys hostel and around 3 girls hostel costing to be INR 44000 yearly and fooding is separate that is INR 30000 yearly. If you query about lodging outside the college then yes there are numerous options for PG, hostels, and rentals as well costing around INR 3000 per week. Coming to classrooms, labs, libraries as well everything is well organized well air-conditioned in short infrastructure of the college is quite attractive.
The class time is generally between 8am-5pm. But yes I would say ITER is regular about its classes. Though the faculty is absent college suggest some alternative professor to continue with the topic. If you ask my personal opinion I would say overall ITER is a good college to take admission. You will enjoy your college life without hampering your academics simultaneously.
The course fee vary from year to year. Like for I'm a part of 2016-20 batch and my fees are INR 99k per semester. And now it is nearly INR 1.30lakh per semester. Though it's quite expensive for a middle class family but I would say this is not an absolute wastage of money for any private college.
If you try to inquire regarding the placement part then it's quite decent all major companies like TCS, Infosys, Mahindra; etc are recruiting students from ITER every year that too in a good number. At an average, the best placement at ITER is of CS and CSIT department only. Like for this year, the highest salary was INR 16lakh and average of 5lk. The alumni network of ITER is also quite good. There are 6 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls. Hostel fee including mess fees is 15000. There are many pgs nearby the hostels..many house for rents are also available . The food offered in college canteen is of good quality . Veg meals cost 40 rs and non veg meal cost 50. The college cafeteria is one of the best in India. Classrooms are centralized with air conditioners. Classrooms have ppt facilities.. emergency exits and good ventilation.labs are well equipped with all the apparatus.the central library of iter has most educational and inspirational books available..people can sit and study in the reading room.dining halls in hostel mess are above average..but the food is good.all the hostels and labs have WiFi facilities with 3g and 4g net.
The daily routine in iter is very strict. Class timings are from 9 A.m to 4 P.m . Projects are given by teachers at times.. Mostly students do their own projects with team work. There are two exams for each sem.. One midsem exam comprising of 30 marks.. and an endsem exam of 60 marks.. The teaching standard is above good in iter.. the teaching level is worth it with the high fees.Teachers are friendly and particular about their course. The overall experience is good. But the location of the college is a little bad .No major shopping outlets or food outlets nearby .. transportation services are good.
