Gymkhana is the student society in our collage. There are also different clubs like dance, music, sports, drama and etc. Tech and cultural fests both are organised at the same time. Happy life.

Only single hostel, they are clean and tidy and hostel fee is INR 30,000 rupees. PG's will also stay in the hostel. Good food. Meal costs are also included in hostel fees. Everything is perfect.

Its INR 2.7 lack per annum. Many scholarships based on caste or merit. Around 200 students get scholarship. Every bank will give loan.

No, I haven't done any. IBM, Microsoft, Google, cyient, Flipkart, Amazon and etc. Average of INR 5 lack per annum, highest around INR 1.2 crore, 100% placements. Our alumni will be always in touch with us and guide us.

  • Everyday is eventful with brainstroming quizzes, stimulating lectures with enough leisure to hangout with friends at the cafeteria every evening. Even the academic schedule is designed in such a way that students get enough time to explore academic subjects and interests on their own.
  • Coming to the quality and method of teaching, faculty at IITH never fail to amaze us with their genius and grip over the subject they teach. Classes are very interactive and lively interesting disscussions and constructive debates.
  • So far its been a very productive and funfilled experience here at IITH.

  • The student soceties and clubs are really great and provide a good platform for the students. Vibes, Behind the lens, Infero, Torque, E-cell are some clubs.
  • The main events organised are Elan (technical) and Nvision (cultural).
  • The life in college is amazing. There are a lot of fun activities organised. The sports activities are great too.

  • There is no need for PGs. 
  • The food availaible in the mess is above average. There is delay in food sometimes.
  • The classrooms are in the construction phase. The library is small. Wifi has some issues and is unstable at times.

  • The course fee per year is around Rs 3,00,000 per annum.
  • The scholarship options availaible are the merit cum means scholarship and IFS. The scholarships are given on the basis of parental income and category. MCM is given to 25% students and IFS is given to 10%.
  • SBI is in the campus itself. So loans are easy to get.

  • The daily routine can become hectic sometimes, especially for civil students. Generally i get free at around 5. There are on average 3-4 assignments per week.
  • The quality of teaching is good. Professors have contacts in many foreign universities. We have fractal system which helps in continuous evaluation. Each sem is divided into 3 6 segments, there are exams generally towards end of each segments.
  • The overall teaching experience is below expectation. There are pronounciation problems with a few professors.

  • The hostels are around 2000. The hostels are disappointing.
  • The food is good in the mess. Students can avail the canteen facility too.
  • The classrooms are great. The library is really small. Dining halls are good. Wifi can have some issues.

  • Average salary for civil was Rs 7,00,000 per annum this year. The maximum was 35,00,000 per annum INR. 100% of the civil students were placed.

  • The scholarship available to us is the merit cum means scholarship. The minority students get the scholarships easily if they pass the minimum annual income criteria.

  • The quality of teaching is not bad. The method of teaching is good.
  • The overall experience is a little disappointing due to the fact that it is an IIT.

  • There are many student clubs like rang de manch, dance club, vibes(music club), Infocus etc are some of the cultural clubs. Torque, Electronica , robotics club, lambda etc are some of the technical clubs. 
  • Nvision and Elan are the main festival. Nvision is the tech fest held in November and Elan is the culti fest held in Jan. 
  • A lot of time is wasted in travelling from ODF to Kandi, that is the only -ve part of IIT hyd. College life is great with very helpful seniors around .

  • Food is average for a North Indian. 
  • Infrastructure is just above average because of the temporary campus. Wifi gets unstable at times.

  • Course fee is Rs 2.5 lakhs per annum from 2016 batch onwards. For my batch it was Rs 1.5 Lakhs per annum including the hostel fee and mess fee. 
  • Scholarships are given depending upon parental income and category. MCM and IFS are the two main scholarships. I am also getting MCM scholarship. 25% and 10% respectively are given the scholarship. 
  • If loans are needed , SBI is in the campus itself. Loans are easy to get.

  • Second year is a bit hectic with classes till 5:30. Assignments are given almost twice a week. We have fractals academics in IIT Hyderabad, exams happen min thrice in a sem. IIT Hyd follows continous evaluation. 
  • Prof. are mostly young with average age being 35 years. They have many contacts in foreign universities. 
  • Permanent campus is in construction phase, so a lot of time is wasted in travelling from tempoarary campus to permanent campus.

  • There are a number of student clubs like Torque, Electronica, Lambda,Inferro, Robotics etc. Culti clubs include RandDe Manch, Vibes, Dance Club, Infoucs etc. Basically there is a club for almost everything. 
  • Nvision (Tech)and Elan(Culti) are the main fests. They are held in november and jan respectively. 
  • College life is great in any IIT. You get to learn new things almost daily.

  • If loans are needed, SBI is there is campus itself.

  • Because of fractal academics, we are engaged in academics through out the semester. Being in the second year. we are genreally free by 4pm. Although labs may continue till 5:30pm. We have end SEGMENTS thrice in a semester. All assignments are given at least a week's time before they have to be submitted.
  • Prof. are very cooperative and helpful. They have worldwide contacts which help in getting internships. 
  • Seniors are also very helpful, motivating. They help in doing projects.

  • The daily routine sometimes becomes really hectic. Like i already spend more than 1 hour in travelling. I get free at around 1pm and again i have to attend lectures at 2.30 pm.
  • The methodology and teaching depends most on the teachers.
  • The experience in the college is amazing. The people here are motivating and encouraging. The seniors are open. The hostels are a little disappointing though. It will be great if thr is a swimming pool and a snooker table. The clubs look great. The activities are awesome.
