you have to complete your ug with atleast 50 % marks. you have to appear in M.Sc. entrance exam. Typical cutoffs- 60-70 marks.

Many fests held in our college. Recently we enjoyed our tech fest 'jananagni' Many sports club are also there.

College Infrastructure 6/10

There are two hostels of our college 1st one only for the first years and next one for seniors. Hostel fee is INR 21 thousand per year both hostels has its mess.

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is having a particular fee is INR 80 thousand per year Also it is a central university there are many scholarship programs. Many students get benefited by it.

Many companies like Wipro, make my holiday etc also come for placement. Average salary paid is INR 3 lakh per annum.


Most important criteria are 12th pass out. Then you have to give JEE on the basis of your score you got in JEE your admission will depend upon.

IT companies ,a lot of them visit everyear.Companies like IBM,TCS visit every year to name a few.The peers have a tradition of cracking GATE exam as well.


You must appear for JEE MAIN exam conducted by CBSE for admissions here.The candidate must have 60% or above marks in 10+2 conducted by any eligible boards.You can get admission upto 60,000 AIR in JOSAA counselling.

There is no society on our campus. The cultural fest and "Jinagni" - tech fest is celebrated annually.

There are two hostels. We have a separate hostel for 1st-year students. The hostel room is allocated on merit basis. PG's and private rooms are available.

Academics & Faculty 6/10

The class timing is from 10 am to 5 pm. The quality of teaching is good. The assignments are given regularly.

Fees and Scholarship 7/10

My college fee is INR 70000 per annum including hostel, food and lodging. UP government scholarships are available for the students.

Placements & Internships 7/10

I haven’t done any internship yet. The companies like TCS, Wipro etc come for placements and they give average salary package of INR 3.5 lakhs per annum. Around 60% of the students got placed.


The candidate must clear the JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 100 cutoff mark is required for general and 70 cutoff mark is required for OBC.

For getting admission in this university you should have passed 12th standard from a recognised board. No any entrance for b.sc and cutoff of our course goes to 65% .

Students clubs are like NSS,NCC,BSF,SFI,ABVP.  Only one festival is celebrated Jnanagni held in February and cricket tournaments also conducted by management called gurukul premier league(GPL).

College Infrastructure 5/10

Two hostels are there and they are well maintained. One hostel is only for 1st years and another is for 2,3,4, years with tight security. Hostel fee Rs8000(INR) per year and mess fee is Rs2400(INR) per month. Outside rent is Rs2000(INR) per month. Infrastructure is great and wifi is available.

Timings are good and teaching quality is okay. 2 semesters each year. Assignments are given. Experience in college is great.

Packages are of Rs68000(INR) per year. No scholarship is given from the college. Loans are available and are given by Punjab national bank.

  • Student societies are very good, they are very active, well behaved person and charming personality.
  • But there are no club or anything else.
  • There is only one tech fest or cultural event which is Gnanagni.
  • If I tell true ,the life of an engineering student is always good.
  • He makes fun in all circumstances.
  • Here, there are no girls still we are happy but sometimes it becomes bad when teachers are not taking the class because the don't know anything that's why student don't go in classes, it occurs often at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar.

  • There are some PGs which cost is Rs 4000 to 5000 per month.
  • The quality of food is also not good but ok and the cost is 2400 bucks per month and Rs 35 per meal.
  • The quality of classes is good, labs are good but the machines are not working properly, the library is good but some books are not available and staff of library is very poor, a small canteen that we have.
  • WiFi is very poor and there are no big plans for extra-curricular activities.
