  1. I have done an internship in Sthapatya Consultants Pvt Ltd as a planning assistant and got a stipend of INR 9200/month.
  2. TCS and Cognizant for Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering as well as Information Technology students. Reliance and L&T for Civil Engineering Students. Reliance for Mechanical Engineering students.
  3. On average, a package of INR 3.5 lakhs is given. The highest figure is INR 6 lakhs. 70% of the batch of CS department students got placed last year.
  4. The alumni network is good. The alumni provide scholarship for 1 needy student of each class.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
  1. The admission is based on CET score and 60% marks in HSC. For directly admitted diploma holders, the admission criteria is above 92% for general category students, above 90% for OBC, above 85% for SC/NT students and above 80% for NT students.
  2. CET marks above 100 irrespective of the branches and diploma aggregate above 90%.

There are many clubs like art club, Robotech, dance and so on and also the alumni association is there. Prajwalan our technical festival and zenith our cultural festival also Kalpana chawal trophy for sports. It is quite good sometimes and quite boring sometimes.

There are three hostels for boys and three for girls. Hostel fees are just 150 rupees per year for a stay but for the mess, it is 15,000 per year. Food is good and its cost is 15,000 per year. Quality of classrooms is good and all other things are also good.

It starts from 10.30 am to 6.10 pm including all theory and practical timing. It is not good for some teachers but it is quite good for another teacher. In College we should do all the work on our own there will be no help from the faculty side.

The course fee for Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical Engineering) at Government College of Engineering is INR 60,000 per year. Near about, all the students got this scholarship except students belonging to open category and the annual income was above 8 lakh. Yes, the loan is available but they did not provide us we did it on our own.

I have not done any internship yet. TCS and Cognizant are the key companies. Average salary per year is 5 lakh, and the pointer is above 6.75. Our alumni network is too good that they formed the Spandan foundation which provides scholarships to all students.

Eligibility criteria are HSC board percentage which should be above 75 and admission will be based on MHTCET entrance exam. I took MHTCET and JEE main.

The admission in government engineering Amravati is on the basis of Jee and CET score which conducted by Govt of Maharashtra. The highest score required for mechanical branch forwarded by computer science then electrical, civil, electronics and telecommunication, it and at last Instrumentation 2. JEE & Cet 3.depends on jee percentile by Director of technical education of Maharastra Board For computer science Open: 95 + percentile Obc: 90 + percentile Sc: 80+ percentile St: pass JEE Nt: similar as above

JEE MAIN or MHT CET is necessary. The cutoffs for JEE MAIN was 60 for IT branch and greater for another branch. For MHT CET, the cutoff was 88 and above.

  • The main technical festival on campus is PRAJWALAN, cultural festival ZENITH.
  • Sports event KALPANA CHAWLA TROPHY, management event KAUTILYA are also there at GCOE
  • College life is very exciting and good.

  • Our college lags behind in terms of infrastructure being a government college.
  • There are 2 hostel buldings for boys and 2 separate for girls.
  • Girls hostel is very good and well maintained.
  • Boys hostel has also been renovated recently and it has improved abit. The Hostel fee is Rs 500 per semester.
  • Plenty of PG options are available outside the college campus at affordable prices( 1250rs per month) .
  • Hostel mess has a charge of Rs 9000 per year.
  • Library is well maintained and has a wide variety of books.
  • Classrooms and labs are also well maintained.
  • Wifi is not provided to students at GCOE.

  • The timetable of the whole week is fixed and class are conducted regularly except for a few facilities who are not punctual.
  • We have semester wise pattern. College class timings are from 10.30am to 5.10pm.
  • 10 marks are allotted to teachers assessment based on an overall conduct of the student.
  • Faculties of our college are very experienced and provide full support to students. Standard books are referred for teaching. Projectors are used for teaching when ever needed.
  • My overall experience of college is good. It has very friendly environment for study and academics at GCOE.

  • The students can avail various scholarships according to government schemes and his/her eligibility criteria.
  • The college is very supportive throughout the process.
  • The college provides scholarship to 10 students every year based on their academic performance and financial condition.
  • Other students can apply for various scholarships schemes available like PTC, CSS, EBC, minority , Backward class freeship and scholarship.
  • Our college does not have any tie-up with any bank to avail loan facilities.

  • The average salary figure offered is Rs 3.4 lakhs per annum and the highest salary figure offered is Rs 5 lakhs per annum by Hafele (Management and sales) .
  • Our college has a vast alumni network because of its 51 years of glorified history.
  • Our alumni are holding key positions in myriad fields such as academics, business and management, administration and civil services, and executive in many core companies.

  • I got admission in GCOEA through MAH CET( Maharashtra Common Engineering Test) in 2013.
  • My score was 138/200.
  • I got admission in second CAP round.
  • I have done 10+2 from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and higher Secondary Education.
  • I had a state general rank of around 5000.
  • The eligibility criteria are 1)candidate must be domicile of Maharashtra having a non-zero score in MAH CET.
  • 2) Minimum 50% marks in PCM combined ( 45% for backward classes belonging to Maharashtra only).
  • Outside Maharashtra students can also apply through JEE MAIN score.
