There are many societies in DESHBANDHU college. You can also participate in these societies and I hope you learn something new.
Class timings are sometimes confusing. Quality and methods of teaching are more than average some teachers are good while others are bad. Overall experience is awesome.
The course fee is very less. Anyone can afford these courses. I don't know about the scholarship.
Placement is average. Only a few companies came. The average salary they offered INR 10000. Maximum salary offered INR 17000-20000
There are societies for every activity like dance, music, art and etc. They participate actively in completions and fest.
There is no hostel. Canteen has renovated. The library is air-conditioned. WiFi is available.
The faculty is very supportive and helpful. You have to give assignments every semester. You can take summer projects.
The fee is very low as it is government funded college. So per year maximum INR 20,000 is the fee, you have to give in which there is everything included.
Asian paints company came to hire students at INR 4.5 lacs package.
You have to score around 94% in 12th boards exam to take admission. Last year cut off was 94% for chemistry honors.
Dance, music, band, quiz, book clubs are there. There are student union and various sports teams. Basically, everything is there for you to have a great college experience. There are lists of fest also.
There are no hostels. The rent of PG is INR 15-16k for a good 1BHK. The classrooms are not bad. Labs are very well-known( keep in mind, this is a govt. College). The campus is WiFi enabled.
Class timings vary. Sometimes, the classes start at 8:30 am, on other days at 11 am. The classes finish between 3:30-4:30 pm. Classes are 5 days a week. The timetable for all even semesters (2nd,4th etc) are the same. Same for the odd semesters. The quality and method of teaching is very high. The teachers are very warm, unlike some other colleges. My overall experience has been very satisfactory. :)
The course fee is 60,000-70,000 INR/year. Scholarships are not particularly beneficial but a lot of seats are reserved for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Kasmir Migrants/ disabled students. Loans may or may not be needed. I don't need to take a loan as I am, fortunately,f inancially well-off.

For my course, the best of four was taken for PCB and English. Applications were filled online through the DU admission portal. I did not give any entrance exam. The typical first cutoff pattern I have seen over the past few cutoff lists (2015-17) is 91-92% (achievable).
Eligibility percentage must be 80% for the entrance exam.This percentage is achievable if you practice more for the exam.
The college has many societies like dance society, Nukkad Natak, and also have film-society and many more. The main festival on campus is Sabrang.
There is no hostel in college. good quality food is available in college canteen and not costly. quality of classes and labs is not good but kept neat and clean. full air-conditioning and digital library. Good wifi network.
The timings of classes are 8:30 to 1:30 but sometimes may be extended. some teachers are very helpful. well qualified teachers. some teachers have an excellent method of teaching. Overall my experience in college is quite good.
The fee for maths department is not high.it is 9k to 10k per year. I have a scholarship for obc, sc and st student.
Placements are on average, but not enough to fulfill your dreams. Some companies and BPO are coming for placement like Concentrix, RBL etc.
For admission to maths honors. You should have math background in senior secondary. Admission is based on your 12th percentage. But I heard that university is going to conduct an entrance exam. The cutoff is too high for math department.last it is 96% but relaxation for OBC, SC and ST students.
There are every society in college annual fest is also organized and sports, department fest, cultural fest are also done in every semester

Students should get qualified 10+2 .no entrance exam is required.mostly the cutoffs 85%above in maths physics and computer science for admission in Bsc computer science
Societies are doing a great job be it drama, debating, dance, music, NCC, NSS or sports National festivals are celebrated and there are annual departmental and society wise fest's as well which has a great opportunity. The campus is spacious overall and the environment is good.
No hostels in college. Food in college is of good quality and very reasonable, Infrastructure overall is poor, no auditorium.

There are various extracurricular activities in our college. College Fest and sports day are celebrated in our college.

The Daily Routine of my classes is from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. We have total 4 classes in a day. Each class of 1 hours.

As an individual I have done 4-5 internship till now. I have worked as social media marketing, campus intern, campus manger, campus ambassador etc.
The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for my course was 82%. I got the admission on the 5th cut off list. Top four subject was considered and if you made up to that criteria , you will get the admission.
We have many societies like NSS, dancing, singing etc. Diwali fest, annual day, sports day and annual fest are the main festivals on campus. Life is good.

My college fee is around 7,630 rupees annually. So many scholarships are available for the students. Only a few students got the scholarship. The loan is not required.
I haven’t done any internship yet. I don’t know much about the companies taking part in the recruitment drive and salary offered by them. We have good alumni network.
