Admission procedure first you give the JEE mains exam after that does a committee called joint admission department you have to register on that after that they will give you the Date and timings of the counselling procedure which is done at DTU if you are not taking computer science engineering then you must have a good rank at least at about 300-400 starting and ending is I think about 1200 and more increases with time I think there are 7 rounds in the counselling procedure and the cut off increases gratuity the board exams marks are not in taken care of from the previous year and then there is it software after that there is electronics and communication engineering branch after that there is electrical and then gradually to mechanical production
Daily routine in the first year is 5 or 6 hour non-stop classes from straight 8 am or 1 pm without any break or the classes are spread over 8am to 6 pm including breaks. For teaching my viewpoint is that classroom study doesn't help you in placements especially for tech background it's what you learn in the real world outside, classrooms are just for passing the classes and sitting for placements. Each year in February there's the annual Engifest which is one of the biggest in North India. Sports festivals are also conducted within the university and it registers a large number of participants. The facilities in the hostels are amazing. Security is well maintained. Clean environment. The WiFi connection is good in all rooms. Each hostel has its own separate mess (dining halls). The fee for the hostels per month is 3500 rupees and for the mess is 2200 but there's an option to pay per meal which cost roughly 60 rupees since it depends whether it's veg or non-veg food.
