Societies & Associations :

There are a lot of societies such as dance, music, fashion, commerce etc. DCAC is known for its fest and the college life.

College Infrastructure :

There are no hostel facilities but PGs are available at a cheap rate around the college. The quality of classrooms is also good.

Academics & Faculty :

Classes start at 8:30 am and the last class ends at 3:30 pm. Very good faculty and a good environment in the college.

Fees and Scholarship :

The fee structure is very less being a government college. It is about INR 1000 a year for general categories.

Placements & Internships :

Companies like KPMG global, EY, NIIT and many others offer placements in the college and the average salary rounding off to INR 3 - 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Admissions :

Admission is based on the merit system and the usual cutoff is 95% for bcom hons.

The Finance and Investment cell are one of the best societies in DU.

College Infrastructure :

No hostel facility is there. The campus is very small.

Academics & Faculty :

The first lecture starts at 8:30 and ends at 1:30 pm. The teachers are very friendly and are excellent in their subjects.

Fees and Scholarship :

My course fee is INR 9000 per year. There is no scope for the scholarships and loans.

Placements & Internships :

I interned as a marketing executive during the first year of my college. EY, KPMG and other big companies come for the placements. The average salary ranges from INR 3 lakhs to INR 4.5 lakhs.

Admissions :

The cut-off for B.Com Honours is always between 94-95.5%. The admission procedure was very simple.

The societies such as "Vyapar", "Rokda", "Mercado", "Enactus", "Nss", "Clif", "Comania" are good. "Ambrosia" is the main fest of our college.

College Infrastructure :

There is no hostel of our college. The PGs are available outside the college but it is costly. The cost is INR 10000 to INR 16000 per month.

Academics & Faculty :

The teachers at DCAC are excellent. They teach so well. They are highly qualified.

Fees and Scholarship :

My course fee was INR 10000 in the first year and now it is around INR 8000 in the second year including examination fees.

Placements & Internships :

Various big companies come to our college for hiring students. The highest package offered is INR 400000 per annum. The placement cell of our college is very active.

Admissions :

The cutoff for  B.com honors is usually high. For taking B.com honors in DU you should have studied Maths in 10+2Thereir is no entrance exam conducted for B.com honors course. It is on cutoff basis. I got admission in vacant seats phase 2. DCAC has the simplest procedure for admission. I got free in just 1.5 hour during admission. You should have atleast 2 photocopies of each document so that the procedure becomes easy and less time consuming. The cutoff is usually between 89 to 99 for B.com honors in DCAC. It is a good college of south campus and it ranks 5th in the whole DU.

Societies & Associations :

The College has many societies such as It, Marketing society, Financing society, theatre society, national service scheme society. There is annual cultural fest organized every year in the college. Sports competition, and freshers and other fests also take place. College life is best in our college, all the students are interactive a. If any fresher is joining the college, he/she must join a society because it is the best experience anyone could have, it provides the best experience to remember the lifetime.

College Infrastructure :

There is hostel facility at the college and PGs are also available near the college and it's cost vary from INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 per month. Food is average in the canteen but near the college, there is a mini market where students of our college are mostly eating. The college canteen rates are reasonable and are not more than INR 60. The library is well maintained and every book is available in the library. WiFi facility is also on our college campus.

Academics & Faculty :

The faculty of our college is really good and provide assignment and projects which are knowledgeable and it is not at all a burden, and our college timing is from 8.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m and break is there in between.

Fees and Scholarship :

My course fee is INR 10,000 in the first year and it decreases every year. In my second year, I paid nearly INR 8000. The fees are reasonable. Different scholarship options are provided by DU.

Placements & Internships :

Internships are offered by our placement cell. The internships are from different companies for different courses and the companies that provide offers are renowned companies and usually provide internship certificates, LOR and some include the stipend and some without stipend.  Google offers good packages to the students with INR 5 lakh to INR 6 lakh starting salary annually.

Admissions :

The cutoff for B.Comhonorss is usually high. For taking up this course, the student should have maths as a subject but it is not necessary to count mathematics marks in the best four. The last cutoff is usually above 90% for general category and 85% above for other categories students. Delhi college of arts and commerce is in top 5 of the best colleges of DU for commerce.

There are 9 students' societies available like dance, photography, commerce trade, business, etc. Every department has its own fest.

College Infrastructure :

No hostel facility is available here but PGs are available nearby the college. Classrooms have fans, the computer lab is average, and the library is good here.

Academics & Faculty :

Class starts at 8:30 am and ends at 1:30 pm. The faculties give the assignments regularly.

Fees and Scholarship :

The course fee is INR 7000.

Placements & Internships :

Mostly, startups like Socially flipped, peekkoo,Threads, etc. come for the placements.

Admissions :

The eligibility criteria is that the students have to pass 12th standard with commerce. There is no entrance exam for the admission.

Societies & Associations :

Many societies are there. I don't remember the names of the societies. College life is excellent.

College Infrastructure :

The college food is average, only a few varieties of food are available but all the other facilities are good. Washrooms are not that much good and there are no PGs available nearby the college.

Academics & Faculty :

Classes begin at 8:30 am and end by 2:00 pm. Quality and method of teaching are excellent. The teachers give their best efforts to the students for the growth of their skills.

Fees and Scholarship :

The course fee is about INR 10000 per year. Being a government college, no scholarships are available here. No loans required as well.

Placements & Internships :

No internships I have done yet. Many companies come and hire the students but I don't Know much about the companies. The maximum salary package is INR 3 to 4 lakhs per annum and the average salary is INR 2 lakhs per annum.

Admissions :

The eligibility criteria for admission is 60% marks in 12th. No entrance exams are conducted for the admission. The cut-off ranges from 90 to 95%.

Societies & Associations :

Ambrosia is the most renowned fest in our college. I don’t know much about the Clubs and Societies on our campus. The college life, in general, was good.

College Infrastructure :

We have no hostel facility. Food provided in the canteens is good and costs low. Quality of Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, Dining halls is not bad.

Academics & Faculty :

The quality and method of teaching are good. The overall experience in college was good. We have well-experienced faculties.

Fees and Scholarship :

My course fee is INR 10,000 per annum. I don't know much about the scholarships and the educational loan is not required.

Placements & Internships :

I haven’t done any internship yet. I don’t know much about the companies taking part in the recruitment drive and salary offered by them. We have good alumni network.

Admissions :

Candidate must pass 12th with minimum 80% of marks from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. No separate entrance exam is conducted.

College Infrastructure :

The hostel is provided by the college. Only PG options are available to the outside students and it costs around INR 10-15000 per month as the college is located in south delhi. There is a canteen in the college and the price is very cheap as compared to other options. It costs around INR 50 per meal. There are updated e-library with WiFi and gym, sports is also provided.

Academics & Faculty :

The class starts at 8:30 am and ends at 1:30 pm. There is a good quality of education offered as the teachers are highly qualified. The college has the best faculty and it makes the experience best.

Fees and Scholarship :

The fees is INR 8500( approximately) which doesn't include the examination fees. The college is state funded and there is an exam to get scholarship offers. Loans are not needed since the fees is very economical as compared to other institutions.

Placements & Internships :

The college placement cell provides you with many opportunities starting from 1st year to the placement offers in the final year. The College provides courses for arts and commerce and mainly placement offers are for B.com honors, B.Com program, economic honors and English honors. The company of the commerce i.e. PWC, KPMG, Ernst and Young and Delloite visits the campus for the placement. While in short and other companies come for winter session for other placements. The average package offered is INR 3.0 lakh while the highest is INR 6 lakh offered by the company last year. The percentage varies but the mass recruitment is in commerce with Ernst and Young leading around 25%. The Alumni of Dcac are in many fields like AIB comedian Gursimran Khamba or Rahul Kanwal in India today group.

Admissions :

The criteria for getting admission in the Bcom honors course is the cutoff. There is no entrance exam for this course but one has to pass mathematics in 12th class for B.com honors while the course doesn't require to study mathematics. I got 95% marks in class 12th CBSE board and secured the admission. To get into any DU college for this course minimum cut off for the general is around 90%.

  • In Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, [DCAC] Delhi University companies like E&Y, KPMG hire from the college.
  • The college ranks top in journalism, therefore alumni network includes such talents.
Admissions :
  • Admissions in Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, [DCAC] Delhi University were based on 12th-grade percentage. The management at the time of Admission Process was really bad because of too much crowd.
  • Typical Cutoff for the course was 95-97%. There are no entrance exams for such courses which have a negative point because the intelligence of a person cannot be judged just by the academic performance of 12th-grade.
