No eligibility criteria is there. Hence the admission will be done on the basis of merit only.
'Talent Hunt' takes place once in a year usually in September. Art societies, NCC and NSS are active societies of college.
The classrooms are maintained with some essential Agricultural tools and equipment.
Students usually have a busy schedule in college and frequent project works/ assignments. The college has good and cooperative staffs.
The course fee is INR 43000 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year and INR 42000 for the 4th year. Scholarships are given after publishment of the results of the semester and it is given to University toppers which are starting from INR 2000 to INR 5000 per semester.
Internship happens usually in the final year in Chemical/ Seed companies and with research individuals in private firms.
Admission happens based on merit system with average cut-off starting from 84% for Non-Medical and 80% for Medical students.
The college has its own N.C.C and N.S.S units and annual talent hunt competition is held in the college besides this other exhibition of Art and craft are also held in the college.
Infrastructure is quite good and there are hostels for boys and girls separately. A seperate hostel is also there for P.G students.
The daily routine is based on regular classes which are 45 minutes each and every day there is 1 hour 30 minutes of practicals. Mid sem exams and assignments are also taken.

Many private Agro based companies come for placement offer jobs for passed out students and for those students who are willing to do a job while studying.
Admission was on the merit basis a merit cutoff list was prepared for both the students of medical and non-medical streams. The minimum required percentage for medical students was 75% and for non-medical students was 81%.
