Fees and Scholarship 9/10

PGDCA is a one-year diploma and the overall fees for the course are INR 109000. The fees include college uniforms, journal materials and lunch during college hours.

Scholarships are given to the students on merit basis and also students who perform well in national level competition get some scholarship.

For the PGDCA course, there won't be any need to take a loan as it is very affordable.

Placements & Internships 10/10

The PGDCA course does not require the candidate to do an internship. But the college has strong placement network and 3-year graduate students get placed in reputed hotels for their industrial training.

The college also provides 100% placements to all the students. If any student does not want to get placed at the time of graduation he/she can come back later for placement.

The college provides placements in reputed hotels in India as well as in reputed international cruise lines.

Admissions

The entrance exam consists of a multiple choice test followed by a trade test and finally a personal interview. Out of all the applicants, the college will select the best 35 depending on overall performance in the entrance exam.

If the candidate is selected, the college will inform him/her about the same via mail along with fee structure. If the applicant is willing to join the course then he/she will need to pay the fees and submit the required documents. After this, the admission will be confirmed.

The College does encourage the Committees such as catering, cultural, sports and maintenance committees.Independence Day, Republic Day and the Annual Gala Buffet.Themes Buffets area also hosted from time to time.Good hard working but fun.

College Infrastructure 9/10

One Hostel and the fee for one academic year is INR35,000/-.The college is surrounded by the IT Companies and there are a lot of PG accommodation available.Food is all Five Star in the college. Good classrooms, good library, and dining facility.Wifi is there but available on request.

Academics & Faculty 9/10

Daily Routine is excellent as the course is 80% Practical Oriented and also we spend a lot of time in the kitchen.Excellent methodology and also the infrastructure and the Faculty are the best in the country.This is the only college with uploads the pictures of the products made by the students in the regular practicals on the offical website on a weekly basis.Very Good and Tough because of high discipline rules and also hectic practical sessions.

Almost INR One Lakh.Merit Scholarships and the fee reimbursement is available.30% of the batch get scholarships.Very easy as the banks know that the students get international Placements  ....all banks give loans.

As of BHM, I did in Oberois and the stipend was INR 4000/-.International Cruiselines Companies like P&O UK, COSTA Italy, and Princess USA paid INR 50,000/- per month and also 90% of our batch has got international placements.We have Alumni Whatsapp Group and also a regulatory college web page.

Admissions

We had to be a graduate in Hotel Management from any recognized University. Culinary Academy of India conducts its own Entrance exam.

College life is very good and sport meets, cooking fests, cooking competitions are the main festival on the campus, It is a fantastic college.

There is no associated club But the college has many events ,competitions & sports, the general life is very tough and enjoyable

There is only one hostel that is only for boys with 40 beds, There are many PGs near the college.The Food in the college is excellent.Lunch is provided free of cost There are 8 kitchens for practicals with the latest ultra modern facilities and equipment They provide the best quality products for practices and there is a full updated library with e book

 Class timings are from 9 am in the morning but there will not be any fixed time to leave in the evening, it depends on the days events.  the method of teaching is 70% practicals and 30% theory classes.Overall experience is very good

  • The CAI has eight full-fledged states of art food productions labs, 40 seater training restaurant, mock bar, 100 seater auditorium, classes with audio-visual facilities, computer lab, seminar hall, dining hall and a full-fledged library with intranet facility.

  • Culinary Academy of India would not have been enjoying a brand status and considered a benchmark in the arena of culinary education. Continuously being appreciated for quality products and top results in national competitions would not have been possible if there wasn’t been a highly qualified and dedicated term of mentors and faculty behind it.

  • CAI life is very tough, the students have activities round the year, they will be continously working in the 9 kitchens, apart for academics they need to prepare for culinary competions.
