Students have a great unity among them on campus. College fest and cultural program are organised every year and different times of sports activities are also held so that every students can participate there and showcase their talent. In general, college life is good and awesome in Birjhora Mahavidyalaya.
Birjhora Mahavidyalaya provides only girls' hostel and they provide it within budget. Lots of PGs are available near the college with the cost of 4000 per month. Food facility are also good. Veg and non-veg all kinds of foods are there and make comfortable to everyone and price is not so high. Quality classrooms, Labs, Libraries also there with. But Wi-Fi facility is not there. But it will starts soon.
Guwahati University provides scholarship if a student scores 85% in his/her academic year. And moreover, the fee is very basic and comfortable for the level of students so that everybody gets through their courses easily.
In 2015 I have done an internship in South Asian International News for two months and I had a great experience there. I learned a lot of things there regarding writing and editing. My internship stipend was Rs. 5500.
Birjhora Mahavidyalaya comes under Guwahati University in the state of Assam. It is one of the best science college in Assam. The college provides all the related courses basically related to science background. The eligibility and criteria is HS pass with 60% marks in HS. No entrance examination. Typical cut-offs for my course in 2012 is 50% and now it increased to 60%.
The life in college, in general, is good. There are no clubs, association on campus.
The food in college is good and it cost less than outside. The quality of classrooms, libraries, dining hall is also good.
The quality and method of teaching are good. My experience in college is overall good.
