There are a lot of clubs based on poetry, sports etc. The main festival is Anokha. It's a mix of cultural and tech. Amazing. Love the place. Love the vibes there.

College Infrastructure 8/10

There are 6 hostels. 4 for guys and 2 for girls. The fees are close to 80k(INR) per year. No, PGs near the college, the only option is to come to the city. Renting a room is possible though. The college on the food if bad. You will hey sick of it on a month. College infrastructure, classes and labs are perfect.

Academics & Faculty 9/10

College is good. Most faculties are exceptionally good. Encourage questions and clear them well. College life is good.

Fees and Scholarship 5/10

My course fees are 1.67 lakhs(INR) P.A. Yes, scholarships are available. But I am not sure what they are, I think it's a 10% decrease in the fees. Loans aren't exactly needed o guess.

Placements & Internships 8/10

Not attended any internships. All core companies and it companies come with respect to the braches come for placements. Yearly salary ranges from 4.0 lakhs to 30.0 lakhs(INR) P.A. Alumni network is reasonably good. All the Alumni come over and help out during our technical fest.

Admissions

The eligible criteria are you have to score more than 80% of the science subjects and maths. That is you need to get 80% or more in physics chemistry and maths. The entrance exam for Amrita is AEEE.

The life in Amrita is peaceful and good.

College Infrastructure 6/10

Hostels will be good and mess food is ok but not bad. The hostel fee is INR 37,000 p.a and for mess, it is 48,000 and the classroom will be good and wifi facility is there.

Academics & Faculty 9/10

The project will come in the last semester and class timings are from 8.45 am to 4 pm and the assignments will be there.

Fees and Scholarship 8/10

INR 2,45,000 is the fee per year, including academics, hostel and mess fee. The scholarships are available in this college and it is based on the cut off criteria.

Placements & Internships 8/10

I have no idea about the placements.

Admissions

We should write entrance exams for admission and the eligibility criteria are to have 80% above in board exams.

"Gokulastami" is the main festival in our college. "Anokha" is our tech fest and "Amritotsav" is also important

There are 2 hostels for girls and 7 for boys. Food is fine. Quality of classroom, labs, dining halls, wi-fi is good.

Quality and method of teaching are good. Class starts at 8.40 AM and ends at 4 PM. Overall experience was good.

Fees and Scholarship 6/10

The tuition fee is 3 lakh per annum. The scholarship was offered 5 per class based on the entrance scored. I didn't get the scholarship.

Placements & Internships 8/10

I haven't done any. But Amazon, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro. The college has 97percent placement. The alumni network is good.

Admission procedure starts after taking up an entrance exam. I took AEEE, SRMJEEE, VITEEE.

There are many student clubs over here. Those clubs are really useful for the students. Gokulashtami festival and Anokha tech-fest are celebrated grandly here. Overall life here depends on us.

College Infrastructure 9/10

The hostel fee is expensive here. The quality of hostel is good. Food is ok. All facilities like wifi etc are provided. Overall infrastructure is really good here.

Academics & Faculty 7/10

The class starts at 8.45 am and ends at 4.00 pm. Teaching is good. Overall experience is good.

Fees and Scholarship 5/10

The course fee here is higher compared to other colleges. Yes, the scholarships are available on merit basis.

Placements & Internships 7/10

I haven’t done any internship yet. The placements are decent here. The highest package offered was INR 23-24 lakhs per annum.

  • Loans are easily available in PNB Coimbatore without any guarantee or mortgage. The loan amount is Rs. 15lakhs.

  • The main festivals on the campus are Anokha and Gokhulashtami.
  • There are clubs for dance, drama and music.
  • There are Science clubs and every department has its own club.
  • Sports is not that much promoted but the college still has an annual sports day.
  • The clubs of the college organise various fests and seminars that help the students learn more.
  • The overall life in the college is very good but, the rules and regulations are to be followed strictly.
  • The college gives plenty of opportunities but does not compromise on discipline.

  • The hostel fee is Rs 45,000 per year.
  • The hostel infrastructure is not that great.
  • It is always advised to stay in PGs nearby as they are cheap(Rs.5000 per month) and provide good facilities.
  • Food is just about average and is a bit expensive too as it costs Rs. 100 per meal.
  • The college has good libraries. Labs are there for every desirable stream.
  • The classrooms are well equipped and have projectors that are used in case needed.
  • The college also provides good Wi-Fi connectivity to students. Overall, the infrastructure of the college is really good.

  • Classes are 50 minutes each and are held from 9am to 4pm on weekdays only.
  • There is a 1-hour lunch break from 1pm to 2pm.
  • Exams are on a semester system, which is two exams in one year.
  • Internal exam marks have 60% weightage and remaining 40% are for the external exams.
  • Assignments are given as a part of the daily curriculum. The teaching is mainly done through lectures.
  • The college has good faculty who are very knowledgeable and highly qualified in their respective fields.
  • They do their best to impart proper knowledge and understanding to the students about the subject.
  • The overall experience in college is very good as it is a very good place to learn new things and also showcase your talent.
  • It is also very strict regarding its rules and regulations.

  • There are not many scholarships provided by the college.
  • Only, for the students who are financially weak, the college may exempt the tuition fee.
  • This exemption is done only when the college finds that the candidate is deserving but cannot join the college due to financial constraints.
  • The average amount of students getting a scholarship are around 10.
  • The college does not do much in helping the student get the loan for the fees.
  • But, due to the goodwill of the college, it is easy to get loans from whichever bank you go.

  • The college does not provide any internship.
  • Any internship needed by the student has to be done by the student himself.
  • The main companies coming for placements are L&t, Caterpillar, TCS, CTS, Microsoft, Google, etc.
  • Mainly, the roles for which the students are hired is graduate engineering trainee and software engineer.
  • The average salary figure that the companies provide is around Rs 3.5 lakhs.
  • Highest placement salary figure goes up to Rs 15 lakhs per annum.
  • 95% students get placed from the college, Amrita School of Engineering, [ASE] Coimbatore.
  • The college also has a good alumni network.
