There are a lot of clubs here. That is the best of Amity University Mumbai. There are so many clubs and each of these clubs have a certain procedure on selecting the students. Few of the main festivals of Amity are Aminova, Technicia, sports fest, E-call, theatre club, fashion design, etc. 
College in geneal great and provide a lot of freedom for the students. Clubs and associations are really active and participate in a lot of events to make the college more lively.

College gas full AC and WIFI. Hostel has 2 types AC dorms and non AC dorms (60,000 and 100,000 respectively). The hostel students can avail mess food at 3300rs per month that is 110rs a day for Breakfast, unlimited lunch, snacks and unlimited Dinner. 

The college has clean classrooms and a very good crowd. The library has almost all the books that teachers ask us to refer from and more. Labs are very clean and contains all the equiments you need for your subject/course.

The class timings are 9am to 5pm with 1hr of break for lunch. The teachers method of teaching is very good and innovative. Few subjects are interesting only because these teachers make them very interesting for us. They are helpful and caring for the students.

The fee for BBA is 90,000rs per semester. The fee is high, but they give you facilities and courses that none of the other colleges have to offer. You also have scholarships upto 100% depending on your marks. 90% above you gt full scholarship. If loans are required, you can avail them too. Amity has a tie up with Axis bank and you can refer them for loans too.

Internships in Amity University Mumbai are great. The placement cell helps us students in order to get placements and intersnhips in great companies. Intersnhip stipends vary from courses to courses. Placements for bba are great and most of the seniors who wanted to go for a job got placed.

Amity University has a very clear cut procedure for taking in admission. Minimum 55% in 12th and an entrance exam along with a viva. Once you clear this you can get admitted in the college.

There are a lot of clubs. Aminova is the college fest which is held in Feb. many events are also conducted in this college like fashion and animation. College life is good.

There are 2 hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel is provided with AC and Non AC. Classrooms are good with projects. we have 29 labs which is good. Wi-Fi is little poor still they are trying to give the best. Food is good and it costs around INR 50 per meal.

For Master in Journalism and Mass Communication, we had only English test in which they judged our opinion. The Cutoff is around 75%.

If a student has more than 80% in his/her 12th class then they are eligible for direct admission otherwise they need to give AMITY JEE entrance exam for admission.You need to at least get 50% marks in the entrance exam to pass the cutoff.

We have a cultural club, theatre club, and a photography club. There is an annual fest called 'Aminova' which happens in January and February each year. The college life is splendid.

There are two hostels; one for boys and another for girls. The hostel fee for AC rooms is INR 100000 and for Non-AC is INR 60000. PGs will cost around INR 13000 per month. The mess food costs INR 31000 annually. The classrooms, labs, and dining halls are AC equipped and the classrooms and labs are equipped with great essentials and technical items.

Class starts from 9:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm. The School of Communication has great teachers. The college is seemingly underpopulated, but there is a diverse crowd from different parts of the country.

The course fee is INR 8600 per semester for the first year. Students with an aggregate of 75% and above marks in 12th, will get a 25% scholarship on their course fees. Students scoring above 88% in the 12th, will get a 50% scholarship on their course fees. Students with 93% and above marks, will get 100% scholarship. At least 55% of the students get the scholarships. If loans are required, Central Bank of India will give the educational loan.

There are no internships offered yet because the academic session has started only 3 weeks ago. Since Amity University is a new campus in Mumbai, there is no batch of Journalism and Mass Communication graduated yet. Though we have a placement cell, we have to find the internships by ourselves.


Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Candidates should have passed 10+2 from any board with 50% or above marks. Students have to appear the ACAT (Amity Common Admission Test) and then attend the GDPI round. I got direct admission and also got a scholarship because of my 12th marks. Amity rewards scholarships to the students with the good academic caliber and renews the scholarships accordingly on the basis of academic performances in the semesters.

  • Hostel of college is good and well maintained. It cost 5000 per month in hostel and food cost are different, cost around 3500 rupees. PGs around hostel are also good costing nearly 2500 for an individual. Food quality is good. Per meal for a day cost 80 rupees including lunch and breakfast.
  • Quality of classroom is fabulous. Classroom have Air-conditioning system. Labs and libraries are too well maintained regularly. Wifi and dining hall are too good

  • College get starts at 9.30 am. Each lecture is of 50 minutes. After 4 lectures there is a lunch break of 40 minutes and again 3 lectures are held up to 4 pm. Quality of teaching is fabulous.
  • All the Teachers are P.hd qualified from renowned institution. Experience is very mind blowing in the college.

  • The course fees now for first year is 1,30,000 rupees for course B.tech Biotechnology.
  • It usually grows 5% per year. In first year the scholarship depends upon the 10+2 marks. In PCB or PCMB or PCM, if the aggregate is 92.3% or above 100% scholarship is given,no fees are taken. If aggregate is 88% and above 50% of scholarship is granted.
  • If in the first year result top 5% deserves 100% scholarship and 10% deserves 50% scholarship. If anyone one wants the loan the college support students to give loans from various banks in a very low interest rates.

  • The average salary per year is around 5 to 6 lacs which is good for beginners.

  • The entrance exam is very simple. You have to simply fill a exam form from university website.
  • Then the university will e-mail you the dates for entrance examination. The examination include PCB subjects each of 20 marks and 20 marks of ENGLISH VOCABULARY AND GRAMMAR.
  • The exam also has VIVA of 20 marks. The cut-off depends on how many students are writing the entrance test.
