Their are more that 15 different clubs, starting from dance to debate. All the festivals are celebrated in the campus. The two most important attractions are AMIPHORIA, the annual fest and AMITY SPORTS. College life is great and enjoyable.
There are 2 separate hostels. One for boys and the other for girls. I am a day scholar, so am not sure about the expenses, but yes I've heard they are minimal. There are plenty of PG's in the Rajarhat area and are safe to stay in.
The daily routines are quite tedious. College hours are exhaustive and continue till 5:30 pm in the evening, The quality of teaching is absolutely great, provided you put in the effort to attend all classes and clear your doubts time to time. So yes!! Overall it's a mixed bag of experiences.
The total fees for 5 yrs course of BA LLB are around INR 10 lakhs. The scholarship shall be provided only if you have scored above 90% in your board results and a redeem in fees of the first semester shall be granted.
I have been selected as an intern under the legal NGO, CRY as well as under a reputed lawyer of a high court. Currently, I'm in my first year and will be interning in the months of June-July. If you can arrange for your summer internships well and good, if you cannot the college is always ready to help. However, I had personally applied to the individuals concerned for my internship.
The eligibility criteria to enroll for the BA LLB course in amity university Kolkata is to apply and sit for the exam conducted by the university itself, followed by a walk in interview if selected. A minimum of 75% in +2 boards exams, whatsoever boards is compulsory.
There are various clubs on campus like the literary club, drama club, sports clubs, etc. Every now and then there are events and festivities going on. And it is a very open and social environment. Life in college is exciting, there is always something to look up to. More than anything it is a progressing environment. You are encouraged to demonstrate and develop your ideas across aspects and to perform them.
Amity is known for its world-class infrastructure. There are 2 boys and the girl's hostels and the boys separately. It has all the facilities you could think of. The hostel is basically given as A small flat with a common room, 2 bedrooms, 2 washrooms. The room is furnished having A.c., 2beds, study tables, almirahs and Also vision board. The food is good. There are 2 cafeterias. Meal per plate approx is INR 50. The quality of infrastructure is excellent. A.c. classrooms, modern infra. And the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
The class timings are flexible as in the entire week has different timings. And it depends on your course and your workload in that semester. Usually, classes start at 9.15 am and end at 3.30 pm or 4.30 pm max. They are usually of 50 mins with a 10 min break. The exams and assignments are very practical and very learning oriented. The quality and method of teaching are excellent. For a private institution. I would say they do take a lot of pain to provide quality learning and Also, develop the entire personality of an individual in all aspects. The overall experience is very healthy, enthusiastic and I would say diversified.
Amity University, course fee increases every semester. It started with INR 85k per semester to now INR 94k per semester. There is an increase every semester. The scholarships options available are 1. I would be doing the internship this summer as it is my second year. The companies that came in were IDBI, and such insurance companies, IT companies, and various other start-ups being from social media marketing to finance roles. There is stipend being offered as well, and it is pretty good. The roles being mainly marketing, HR, and finance. Last year the highest bagged package was from Deloitte. And since the university has just its 3rd year running it's still working on its alumni network. We are still building up. But we're doing good.
you get an allowance for a direct admission. There is no as such cut-off. The only being that you should have a good academic score and perform all in all other areas of the selection procedure. They encourage talent and difference.
For getting admission in Amity University Kolkata, the average marks you have to get in PCM is 55 %. It is a very reputed college now in Kolkata. You can take admission through direct admission under management quota, or else like me you can also give AMITYJEE for getting admission in Amity University.
There are lots and lots events keep taking place here. There are many clubs such as sports, photography etc. which you can take part in.
Infrastructure is awesome. Hostels are pretty costly here, INR 1 lac per annum and that too without food. I would prefer to live in a P.G or take an appartment on rent if you can arrange more 2-3 people with you. It will save you money and give better fooding options. College canteen is pure vegeterian, but whatever u get here, be it snacks like doughnuts, pizza etc. to proper lunch meal is tasty and not that costly. Wifi is there, centralized air conditioner, awesome library etc.
Class timings are from 9:15 am till 4:30 pm. You have to work a little harder to attain nice marks here afterall its not a school. Teaching faculty is good. I am having a nice experience here. There's one major drawback about this college and that is ATTENDANCE. You have to have atleast 75% attendance in each and every subject to be eligible for apperaring in semester exams. They are very strict regarding the attendance thing. If you manage to maintain it, you'll have a nice college life here.
For BCA the course fee is INR 52,500 per semester without a scholarship. If you have scored more than 80%, you will be given some scholarship.
Since the university has opened(i.e., 2015), you can notice a gradual rise in the number of students getting good placements each year in better companies and salary figures.
You need to score atleast 60% in your 12th boards examinations to be eligible for admission here. Then, you have to appear for an entrance examination which is basically based on maths, computers and physics and some intellectual questions. After which an interview will be taken to know what kind of person you are and how much knowledge you have about the subject(nothing to worry about..its simple..you just have to have the basic knowledge).

The University of Kolkata was established in 2015..so no Biotech students are yet placed. But there was the placement for law students and it went pretty good! The average salary figures were 5-6 lakh per annum..going up to 40-45 lakh per annum being the highest!
The eligibility criteria were 60% to get admission! 60% means 60% in class 12 exams. Another good thing was you get scholarships if you perform well in class 12 or in the AMITYJEE! Since I scored more than 85% in class 12, I didn't take any test to get admission! I got admitted directly! Talking about placements, we are the 3rd yr as AUK was established in 2015. Placements are yet to happen but yes..we are hoping for the best!
I don’t know much about the Clubs and Societies on our campus. The college life, in general, was good.

The candidate must clear the entrance exam conducted by the college and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 50% cutoff mark is required.
There are a lot of different societies and clubs according to art and culture, sports and many more. Amiphoria is the college main fest and apart from that, we do film festivals and theatre festivals. In general the college life is really good.

No idea The food is quite good as we have a cafeteria and the prices are fine according to the food If it comes to infrastructure Amity University Kolkata is has a world-class infrastructure with the best of everything, you just really get off your eyes of the beautiful infrastructure.
Our classes start from 9:15 am and continues to 5 pm. Method of teaching is not so good but quality is average. Overall average.
Approx INR 80 thousand per semester is the fee.
No idea, as this branch of the university is just 2 years old so the above-mentioned questions are unaware to me. Alumni network is fine here, as this is a spontaneous university so they do not follow any set of rules that other universities have strictly.
Eligibility criteria were 10th and 12th pass out with min 50% and admission process was quite short with a University form, entrance exam and an interview.
Every branch and has its own club which organizes different programs.
Cultural programs are organized every month.
Faculty feedbacks are also taken from the students.
The infrastructure of the college is very nice. It is fully centralized air-conditioned.
We have a stationery shop, canteen, cafetaria and gym on our campus.
Classes start from morning 9:10 am to 4:30 pm.
Faculties are friendly in nature and also highly qualified.
There is both manual teaching and smart class.
For B.Tech the course fee is INR 90,000/- for one semester.
The 1st-year scholarship is based on class 12th marks and from the second year, you need to be top 10% in your batch.
Internship starts from the 2nd year which is on campus you can opt for off-campus internship too.
To sit for placement you must have more than 7.5 CGPA.
