Foreign Exhange & International Exposure

2 /10

This general point is not, unfortunately, considered as a point of comparison for non-IIT colleges in Maharashtra. As there were few institutions which offer such exposure until I graduated (2011). But this college has a positive side of strong alumni network. Many students go for M.S, MBA and Jobs outside in their immediate post-college career. If the college can decide and take initiative, it can definitely come up with plans for, not Exchange programs probably, but for short-term International opportunities. Also, for now, college encourages students to present papers in International conferences and may provide partial aid for the presentation and travel.

Fees & Scholarship

5 /10

The Institution accept the general reservation criteria applied to the state of Maharashtra. This is beneficial for some of the students. Also, institution gives an average sum as part of annual awards and scholarship; But unfortunately, this applies to only the student who are toppers for particular subjects or for whole academic year. I had never heard of any other financial aid and/or scholarships provided by the college. This means the institution does not have any or does not take sufficient efforts to spread the word.

Placements & Alumni Network

8 /10

The Institution is very helpful throughout the placement season and sure is ranked above average in terms of college placement offers and internship opportunities, compared to Non-IIT colleges in Maharashtra. If you are willing to do some good coursework and take up your curriculum seriously, you have a high chance of getting to work in Amdocs Innovation Lab, College Level projects e.g. Building college alumni site. These are pre-Final Year opportunities which are not available at many institutions. Also some big players come for placements and offers competent salaries and positions. Some of the Project Internship offers also turn into permanent jobs. College has TNP cell which is helpful.

Infrastructure & Transportation
Know more
3 /10

This is a slight downside for the institution. Considering the reputation the college has, its infra-structure is not appealing. Class-rooms are average and same applies to Computer Labs. Dinning halls and Auditoriums are not spacious. Commuting facilities are good because of the location. College library is better in terms of space, books and ambiance.
