National Institute of Fine Arts was established in 2005 in Delhi by Mrs. Renu Khera. The NIFA Institute has established another unit in Panna (M.P)  and it is affiliated with Raja Mansingh Music and Arts University (Gwalior). Its goal is to provide students with education and training in a broad range of fine arts.

The National Institute of Fine Arts (NIFA) is a national center for art education, encouraging emerging and developing artists' excellence and advancing art to create a more human environment. It is an environment where individuals' artistic creativity is nurtured and a sense of community flourishes. NIFA admission is merit-based.

Bachelor of Performing Arts also referred to as BFA is an undergraduate course that consists of subjects relating to fine arts its duration is 3 years. A variety of materials and techniques are involved in fine arts that could support any social cause through art. Fine arts are being practiced mainly for their aesthetic value and their beauty rather than the functional value. The eligibility for a Bachelors’s of fine art is a minimum of 50% in 10+2 from any recognized board in India. MA in Painting is a 2-year, full-time postgraduate painting course split into four semesters of study.
