Classes start from 10 am to 3 pm and in that weekly twice we have labs and seminars. The teaching method is excellent and lecturers are very qualified. Excellent experience in the college and the atmosphere is very good.

M.Tech course fee at MIT World Peace University is 1.75 lakhs per year. If GATE exam is cracked scholarship is available. 60% of the students get a scholarship. Loans depend on the family background.

There is no internship and stipend because I have not cracked GATE exam. The salary depends on the company but the highest package offered was 6 lakhs per annum. Alumni network is the best.

Hostels are there for B.Tech and Diploma students. Girls hostel is also there on campus and in case if we need a hostel they will provide us a private hostel too. PGs are good and the cost is normal for survival and the PGs are present nearby the college itself. The quality of classrooms and labs are very good and overall the college is best.

There are many societies and associations on campus. But these societies and associations are not a part of the college it is created by the students. All fest are conducted on the campus. College life is good, and the atmosphere is also good. Faculties are also friendly and we can communicate to them at any time.

  • Academics is good at Maharashtra Institute of Technology but the faculty is not so good. Most of them are under-qualified to be a teacher at high school. My department did not have even a single professor who had Industrial experience.
  • The placement department in Maharashtra Institute of Technology is very active and has long-term contracts with some good companies but due to bad faculty, most of the students are not eligible for the placements. Those who are eligible do get placed.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Agricultural Engineering), batch of 2017 8/10
  • The faculty is really good. There are learned senior professors, especially, in the mechanical department which is said to be the BEST in Pune after COEP or maybe even equally good.
  • The other departments have excellent professors as well.
  • The usual suspects (Infosys, TCS) grab students in numbers, but MIT also has Microsoft and Deloitte picking up a few students.
  • Global leader Shell recruits Petroleum students in bulk too.
  • MIT offers nearly 100%...
