ICAT Design and Media College is a part of IMAGE groups and was established with the prime objective of providing excellent and comprehensive education in digital media. It was established in 2003 and holds the honor of being the first digital media college in India which has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The Board of Academic Advisors of ICAT Design and Media College consists of internationally renowned professionals who hail from the field of visual effects, animation, game production, and academics. The quality of the courses is continuously reviewed by them.
The college offers undergraduate & postgraduate degree programs in partnership with Bharathiar University. ICAT also offers internationally recognized undergraduate degrees which are validated by Birmingham City University, UK. It is a University Grants Commission [UGC] recognized college.

Eligibility for B.Sc
Students seeking admission for B.Sc program should have an educational level equivalent to a pass in high school (10 + 2 years of schooling). This includes those who have completed 3 years of Diploma from a recognized University or Government after completing 10th Std. Candidates failing to meet the entry level qualification will not be considered for Admission.
Application Details
Send filled-in Application and two passport size photographs to the chosen campus (Chennai, Bangalore or Hyderabad), along with a DD for Rs.900 in favour of IMAGE INFOTAINMENT LTD, payable at the chosen campus. College Prospectus along with the Hall Ticket for the Aptitude test will be sent either through Post or by E-Mail. Alternatively, Application form along with prospectus can be obtained in person from any of the College campuses by paying Rs. 900 in cash.
Aptitude Test
The Date & Venue for the Aptitude test will be intimated by Post or by E-Mail. You can have a look at the test paper of the previous years in our ‘Download’ section.
Personal Interview
Personal Interview will be conducted for those who qualify in the "Aptitude Test". A Creative Portfolio can be presented during the interview, to improve the probability of selection. Though not mandatory, the College recommends it.
Admission
Admission of the selected candidates will be confirmed only after the payment of Admission fees (non-refundable) and verification of academic documents as per norms. In some cases, 'conditional' admission may be given (at sole discretion of the College).
