Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Merit-Based Scholarships

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers merit-based scholarships to students based on the scores obtained in the entrance examinations accepted at the university. B.Tech Scholarships

• The B.Tech scholarships can be given to 10% of the admitted students.
• The scholarship amount is based on the Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering [AEEE] Rank.
• Renewal of the scholarship is done every year.
• The first three rank holders of the state board will get a 90% Tuition fee.
• The first ten rank holders of CBSE and ICSE will also get a 90% Tuition fee.

M.Tech Scholarships

• Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham M.Tech. Scholarship– INR 25000 per semester.
• GATE Scholarship during M.Tech program– INR 12500 per month.

PhD Scholarships

• Amrita University PhD Scholarship – Up to INR 25000 per month stipend alone. Additional support for research infrastructure, facilities, and publications.
• Visvesvaraya Scholarship – Up to INR 43000 per month stipend alone. Additional support for research infrastructure, facilities, and publications.
• Industry Sponsored Scholarship – Stipends vary, Up to Rs. 80000 per month.
• International Internships – Additional stipends during International internships at Partner universities in Europe, Australia, Asia, and the US.

The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Chancellor's Scholarship is offered based on the marks scored by the students on admission tests and interviews. The AVV scholarships are offered as tuition fee waivers. The two scholarships are:

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Scholarship Guidelines

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham scholarships have certain guidelines that must be followed to benefit from them. The students can refer to the following pointers to get a brief idea regarding the pointers to be kept in mind while applying for the scholarships:

• Students are eligible for one scholarship each year. They must maintain their academic record and score well in the exams to be eligible for a scholarship renewal. They must submit the Amrita Scholarship form to be eligible for the scholarships.
• The AVV scholarships are offered in a tuition fee waiver format only. The scholarships cannot be transferred or exchanged in any other format (such as compensation for living or miscellaneous expenses).
• The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham scholarship committee decides the basis of the scholarship renewal. The students must maintain a 7.0 CGPA, a minimum attendance of 75%, and discipline and decorum at the institute.
• The students must submit all the relevant documents and academic manuscripts required to avail themselves of the scholarship. A mandatory AIU-certified qualification certificate must also be submitted to avail of the benefits of the scholarship.
