AU Infrastructure Facilities:

Amity University, Kolkata has over 430 classrooms which are very spacious and air-conditioned. Classrooms at Amity University provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions. These classrooms are designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated audio-visual teaching aids for lectures, presentations, etc.

Syndicate classrooms are available for 300 students to brainstorm at any time. Fifty such syndicate classrooms are available. Amity Kolkata also has an E-learning Studio which is the focal point in conducting many of the university's online courses through distance learning.

Amity University Admissions:

Amity University, Kolkata admissions can be done online on the official website of the university. The online application costs INR 1,100/- for Indian students. The Amity University Cut Off varies every year depending upon the number of the students applying and the level of difficulty of the entrance exam. The direct admission process is conducted for students securing 80%+ in aggerate in class 12th are exempted from the selection process. The selection will only be based on the basis of the Amity Application form.

AU Hostel Details:

Amity University Kolkata Hostel Facilities include accommodation for 700 students (336 boys + 364 girls). The hostel is provided on first come first serve bases. The hostel fee is INR 90,000/- per annum + one-time security fee INR 10,000/- (Security Amount Refundable). Hostel fee can be payable in Kolkata via a demand draft on the name of "Amity Hostel Fee".

Classes start from morning 9:10 am to 4:30 pm.

Faculties are friendly in nature and also highly qualified.

There is both manual teaching and smart class.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

Every branch and has its own club which organizes different programs.

Cultural programs are organized every month.

Faculty feedbacks are also taken from the students.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY

The class timings are flexible as in the entire week has different timings. And it depends on your course and your workload in that semester. Usually, classes start at 9.15 am and end at 3.30 pm or 4.30 pm max. They are usually of 50 mins with a 10 min break. The exams and assignments are very practical and very learning oriented. The quality and method of teaching are excellent. For a private institution. I would say they do take a lot of pain to provide quality learning and Also, develop the entire personality of an individual in all aspects. The overall experience is very healthy, enthusiastic and I would say diversified.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There are various clubs on campus like the literary club, drama club, sports clubs, etc. Every now and then there are events and festivities going on. And it is a very open and social environment. Life in college is exciting, there is always something to look up to. More than anything it is a progressing environment. You are encouraged to demonstrate and develop your ideas across aspects and to perform them.

The college daily starts at 9:15 in the morning. Classes usually do not extend to more than 6 pm in the evening. There are sufficient breaks in between classes with a permanent lunch break for the entire college from 12:50-13:50.

Projects and assignments are frequently assigned to test the students' capability and keep them engaged and interested in the curriculum, while also assessing them. Exams are conducted at the end of the semester in an orderly fashion. 

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There are a plethora of clubs and associations from which you can choose according to your liking and specifics. Almost all fields and co-curriculars are covered. 

Almost all festivals are celebrated on campus, and the college fest that is Amiphoria is a huge event that takes place every year. Sports events are also highly decorated and celebrated each year.

College life in general is a delightful experience.

Class timings are from 9:15 am till 4:30 pm. You have to work a little harder to attain nice marks here afterall its not a school. Teaching faculty is good. I am having a nice experience here. There's one major drawback about this college and that is ATTENDANCE. You have to have atleast 75% attendance in each and every subject to be eligible for apperaring in semester exams. They are very strict regarding the attendance thing. If you manage to maintain it, you'll have a nice college life here.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There are lots and lots events keep taking place here. There are many clubs such as sports, photography etc. which you can take part in.
