CBSE 10th and 12th board exam 2021 revised date sheet released!

According to the recent news, the CBSE 10th and 12th board revised date sheets for the board exam 2021 were announced on 5th March 2021. Initially, the board announced the CBSE 10th and 12th date sheet on 2nd February 2021. There are few date changes in the recently released date sheet of class 10th and 12th. 

For class 10th, the science exam scheduled for 15th May 2021 has been postponed to 21st May 2021, whereas the mathematics exam planned for 21st May 2021 will be conducted on 2nd June 2021. The exam duration will be three hours, i.e., from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Therefore, students are advised to reach the exam center an hour before the commencement of exams. Answer booklets will be distributed between 10:00 AM and 10:15 AM. Students have to fill in the particulars in the answer book, which will be checked and signed by the assistant examiner.

For class 12th science stream, the Physics exams, which were supposed to be conducted on 13th May 2021, have been postponed to 8th June 2021. Moreover, the board scheduled Maths and Applied Maths exams on 31st May 2021. The exam duration will be three hours and will be conducted in two shifts, i.e., morning and afternoon. The first shift will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, whereas the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 

The board had decided to commence the theory paper from 4th May 2021, while the practical exams will begin from 1st March 2021. Moreover, the pre-board exam was conducted online. As the exams will be held between 4th May 2021 and 14th June 2021, the results will subsequently be announced on 15th July 2021.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is responsible for conducting class 10th and class 12th annual examinations and releasing the schedule, results, and other essential information regarding the secondary and senior secondary level. CBSE has issued an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for conducting each exam and has declared that different dates will be sent to the schools for practical exams 2021. For practical exams, an observer will be appointed on behalf of CBSE, who will supervise and do the project evaluation.

CBSE Class 10th Date Sheet 2021 

The board released the revised CBSE class 10th date sheet 2021 for the vocational, theory, and practical subjects on the official website on 5th March 2021. Exams for class 10th will begin at 10:30 a.m and will end by 1:30 p.m. Candidates are required to be present at their respective exam centres on time.

CBSE has also released the 12th date sheet 2021 on 2nd February 2021. According to the CBSE 12th Date Sheet 2021, exams will commence in two shifts : the first shift will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m and the second shift will be from 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m. Find below the detailed date sheet to start your exam preparations.

 How to Download CBSE Date Sheet 2021 for Class 10th and 12th?

CBSE will release the timetable on the official website of the board. Students can download and check the time table from the website. Find below the step by step procedure to download CBSE 10th and 12th date sheet 2021:

Step 1: Visit the official website -

Step 2: A new page opens with three options, click on the "Old Website" option.

Step 3: Under the "In Focus" section, click on the "Revised CBSE Date Sheet 2021" link.

Step 4: Click on "Class 10" for class 10th CBSE date sheet and "Class 12" for class 12th CBSE date sheet.

Step 5: In the top right corner of the following page, click on the download button to save the CBSE date sheet PDF file.

Step 6: Take a printout of the CBSE date sheet PDF for future reference and preserve it until the exams are over.

Instructions for CBSE Class 10th and 12th Examination 2021

Go through the following guidelines before appearing for the CBSE board exams:

1. Students must complete the CBSE syllabus 2021 of all subjects a month or two before the exam. This way, they will be left with enough time to revise.

2. Download and practice the previous years' question papers of CBSE to better prepare for the exam. These will make one familiar with the marking scheme, the types of questions asked in the exam, duration, and more.

3. Do not forget to carry the CBSE admit card 2021 on the exam day. Candidates must take 2-3 copies of the admit card's printouts and keep them secure until the result's announcement.

4. Reach the exam centre half an hour before the scheduled time to avoid any last-minute rush.
