About the Organizer :

SRF at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai

Social Responsibility Forum (SRF) is a student body of SBM, NMIMS which strives to promote social sensitivity among MBA students by involving them in various campaigns pertaining to social causes and societal welfare.

Samadhaan is a part of our flagship event, Sadbhavna. The theme for this year's event is Sanrakshan.

 Problem Statement:

The case is based on a live situtaion faced by WWF - (World Wildlife Fund for nature) , India. The objective is:

  • How to build public perception on the issue of nature conservation and make the general population crusaders of change, &
  • How to develop an individual fundraising model / increase outreach to generate resources from metros

  •    Winners Prize money: Rs. 25,000
  •    Runners-up Prize money: Rs. 15,000
  •    All top-6 teams qualifying for the Finals would be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation.

  • The submission should consist of
    • A report to be submitted in Microsoft Word with font ‘Times New Roman’, font size-12, line spacing - 1.0   and margins - 2.5 cm on each side
    • A PowerPoint presentation not exceeding 10 slides (including the cover slide and ‘Thank you’ slide)

 Rules and Guidelines:

Rules and regulations:

  1.   The event is open to students from all B-schools across India.
  2.   Teams should comprise of minimum 2 and maximum 3 members.
  3.   All the members of the team should be from same college. No member can be a part of more than one team.
  4.   Each team will be permitted to submit only one entry in the competition.
  5.   There is no restriction on the number of entries allowed per institute.
  6.   Please use official email id provided by institute for registration.
  7.   The report submitted should be in Microsoft Word with font ‘Times New Roman’, font size-12, line spacing - 1.0   and margins - 2.5 cm on each side.Word Limit for the Word Document - 1000 words.
  8.   The PowerPoint presentation should be of maximum 10 slides(including the cover slide and the ‘Thank you’ slide).
  9.   Naming convention for both PPT and Word document – TeamName_UniversityName.
  10. Send both the files to [email protected] . Subject of the mail - Samadhaan16_TeamName_Round
  11. The decision of the organizers of the contest and the judges will be final and binding on the all the participants.
  12. The format and structure may change subject to the requirement of the event.
  13. There must be no plagiarism / IPR infringements in the submissions. On discovery of such infringements, the respective team(s) will be disqualified with immediate effect.
