Bachelor of Design

Students can choose B.Des (Bachelor of Design) to become an automotive/ automobile engineer. Admission to this course can be taken by clearing the NID DAT exam. B.Des course includes Fashion designing, Interior designing, Jewelry Designing, and so on.

The duration of the course is of 3 years (6 semesters) in some colleges while many offer 4 years (8 semesters) of Bachelor of Design (B. Des or B. Design). The total fee for B.Des varies from INR 2 to 12 lakhs.

Master of Design

After the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Design from a recognized institution with an aggregate score of 50%, one can join the M.Des Master of Design which is a Postgraduate degree course with a duration of 3 years. The fee structure for M.Des varies from INR 2.4L to 2.6L.

The course is divided into 4 semesters with 2 semesters per year and a 6 months training adjoined after the course completion. The course focus on study, invention and creative use of technology to invent or create experiences for users and provide designs for the millennia. It is mandatory for students to attend internships under various specializations like automation designs, architectural designs, fashion, and so on

Bachelor of Vocational Studies
