XISS Ranchi Admission 2024: Eligibility, Application Process & Dates

XISS Ranchi admission 2024 is offered for MBA/PGDM and FPM courses and considers the candidates' CAT, WAT (Written Ability Test) and PI (Personal Interview) scores. The accepted XISS Ranchi entrance exams are CAT/ XAT/ CMAT. The CAT 2023 results have been announced on December 21, 2023. The last date for XAT 2024 application through GMAT/ GRE is December 31, 2023, and the exam will be held on January 07, 2024.

XISS Ranchi PG Admission 2024

Xavier Institute of Social Services Ranchi admission offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program for two years approved by the AICTE with four specialisations. PGCM- Post Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Management program is a one-year program and covers two semesters. 

XISS Ranchi MBA Admission 2024

XISS Ranchi course admissions offered at the PG level are MBA/ PGDM and PGCM. The specialisations for PGDM courses are Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Finance Management, Marketing Management, and Geospatial Technology.

XISS Ranchi PhD Admission

Xavier Institute of Social Service Ranchi offers a full-time Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) approved by AICTE. FPM at XISS Jharkhand admission is offered for specializations in the following areas- Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Finance Management, and Marketing Management.

The basic eligibility to apply for XISS Jharkhand admission to the FPM program is a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology/ Management/ Economics/ Social Science/ Biological Science/ Pure Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with first class.

XISS Ranchi Application Process 2024

XISS Ranchi accepts only online applications; the XISS Ranchi application form is available on the official website. XISS Ranchi admission procedure has a policy of allowing only one application per applicant.

An applicant, however, can opt for two programs through one application. In the application form, they appear as Program Preference I and Program Preference II. There is no additional charge for filling up the 2nd Program Preference, and the admission process followed by Xavier Institute of Social Service is as per the AICTE guidelines. 

The XISS Ranchi selection process states that 50% of the seats will be filled by applicants applying with CAT and XAT scores, and the other 50% will be filled with candidates applying through CMAT scores. Refer to the XISS Ranchi Courses and Fee page for fees-related detailed information.

Steps to Apply for XISS Ranchi Admission 2024

The candidates must follow the steps listed below to apply to XISS.

• Step 1: Visit the official web portal of the Xavier Institute of Social Service admission page and click on Apply. 
• Step 2: Register for the course of your choice using a valid email address and a contact number.
• Step 3: The next step is to verify the email ID through the mail sent by XISS.
• Step 4: Log in using the registered email address and password to complete the application form.
• Step 5: Upload the scanned copy of all the documents asked.
• Step 6: Pay the application processing fees through credit/ debit/ ATM cards/ online banking.
• Step 7: Submit the application form online. The applicant may keep a printed copy of the form for future reference. 

. XISS Ranchi Selection Process 2024

• The selection for PGDM courses is based on the marks secured in the qualifying examinations, and the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and group discussion.
• FPM candidates are short-listed based on their academic record, performance in the competitive examinations - (CAT/XAT/GATE/GRE/GMAT/UGC-NET or JRF/CSIR percentile/XISS entrance test), and in the research proposal presentation. All the candidates must give a presentation (around 15 minutes) on their research proposal before the personal interview.
• Offline GDPI centres for Phase I will be at the following locations: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Ranchi. 
• GD & PI for Phase II will be held (Face to Face) only at the institute campus in Ranchi. 
• After the GDPI round, the final selection is based on a different set of attributes which include: past academic record (20% weightage), performance in entrance tests (40% weightage), performance in group discussion (10% weightage), performance in personal interviews (25% weightage), extracurricular and diversity (5% weightage).

XISS Ranchi admission criteria consider only the following three admission test scores for shortlisting the candidates - Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2024) conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) conducted by IIM, and CMAT 2023 conducted by NTA.
