What is the admission procedure for B.Sc in Vinayaka Institution of Management and Technology
GENERAL ADMISSION PROCESS
Admission to various undergraduates, postgraduate and research programmes offered by the University is done based on appropriate All India Level Common Entrance Examinations(CEE) conducted by the University every year.
The process of CEEs and admission cover the following programmes offered by the University in its various institutions:
(a) Medicine, Homoeopathy, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences
Certain general particulars applicable to these programmes are given in this preamble. More specific and further information can be obtained under relevant programme heads.
Eligibility conditions on age, qualifying academic programme(s), marks etc are given for each of the programme of admission under respective head.
The schedule of events concerning the admission for the various programmes for the upcoming year of admission is prepared well in advance as per the recommendations of the admission committees and publicized widely in news dailies and the University website, inviting application from eligible candidates.
The eligible candidates are enabled to take the CEEs at opted centres. The questions are of objective type based on minimum syllabi expected to be covered normally by the various universities / boards pertaining to the respective qualifying examinations at all India level. There are negative marks for wrong answers in the case of PG programmes. Candidates who take the CEE are ranked according to their marks in the CEE, breaking the ties, if any, as per prescribed norms.
Candidates who have obtained above a cut off mark in CEE are called for counseling, in the order of their ranks, and offered seat and institution of admission, subject to availability, eligibility and reservation, if any. Subsequent round(s) of counseling will be conducted if necessary.
How to Apply
There are three ways of procuring application material for admission to any announced programme:
(1) In Person: By directly remitting the cost of the application material in cash or demand draft at the notified sale counter(s); (2) By Post: By sending request with demand draft which should include notified extra amount covering postage; (3) On-line: By downloading the application form along with instructions from the relevant pages of the website and printing it out. When the option (3) is used the prescribed cost of application will have to be remitted through a demand draft, along with the completed application.

Those who want to use the option(3) for obtaining the application form, (namely, downloading), may kindly 'view' under relevant 'faculty', 'program' and 'course' above.
The filled in application forms complete with attested photos, signed declarations, required enclosures etc shall be submitted in person or by post, so as to be received by the addressee within the stipulated deadline.

All eligible candidates will be sent with Hall Tickets / Admit Cards for the relevant CEE so as to be received well before the test date, only to the address quoted in the Application. Candidates will be taking the examination at their own cost and care as per the norms prescribed.
Answer sheets, in the MSR (Mark Sense Readable) form, will be normally evaluated by computer, unless the number is small. The candidates will be ranked as per their marks in CEE, breaking ties if any using the prescribed process. Candidates procuring above a prescribed cut-off mark will be called in sufficient number for counseling in which Specializations / Branches and Institutions of study will be selected by the candidates and provisionally allotted, as per availability, eligibility, reservation if any, etc., after verification of original certificates. The provisional selection will be confirmed and the candidate will be admitted on payment of fees.
Subsequent counseling may be arranged for filling seats that may remain unfilled or fall vacant, before the last date for completing the process.
The Application material for each programme will generally consist of the Application Form, Instruction material, University / Institutional Brochure, Blank Hall Ticket, Acknowledgement Card and Envelope(s) for submission of the Application. When the down-loaded form is used, however, the pack may not contain a few of the latter items.
