Candidates willing to apply for any of the courses provided by the university shall fulfill the criteria for admission to the respective courses. The admission process for PG programs has different eligibility criteria. The University of Mysore application form 2024 is available online on its official website. Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam is to be conducted in July 2023 (tentatively). The results for the same will be declared in August and the counseling will commence in the month of September 2023. The provisional admission last date for UG programs is August 30, 2023, and PG course is October 31, 2023.

• For admission to the MA, M.Sc, and M.Com degree courses the candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in their respective fields with at least 45% marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
• For being eligible for admission to the M.Tech course the University requires applicants to have completed their B.Tech with a minimum of 45% aggregate for general candidates and 40% aggregate for candidates belonging to the reserved category.
• University of Mysore's eligibility criteria for MBA admission requires that the students should have completed their graduation with a minimum of 45% aggregate for general candidates and 40% aggregate for candidates belonging to the reserved category.
• For the MSW, M.Ed, M.Li.Sc and LLM degree course admission the candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognized university in their respective fields with a minimum of 40% aggregate from any recognized university.
• For M.Mus and M.Dance admission, applicants must have completed their BFA or BPA and should have a degree certificate recognized by any certificate awarded by the government or any equivalent senior certificate.

• The M.Phil courses should have completed their post-graduation (Masters's or Diploma) in their respective fields from a recognized university.
