Eligibility :
- Candidates who have a passed in the plus-two examination of Kerala Higher Secondary Board or its equivalent with Ma.thematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent and securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission
- Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering from the Board of Technical Education of the Government of Kerala or a Diploma as accepted equivalent andsecuring a minimum of 50% marks in the final Diploma Examination are eligible for admission.
Usual concession to SC/ST and other eligible communities will be allowed as per the rules and regulations of the Government. Candidates shall be Indian National (this is without prejudice to the provision for admitting foreign nationals as per directives of the Government of India), and there is no restriction with regard to age for admission is made through an entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram, every year.
- The candidate should have qualified in the KEAM - BE/B.Tech examination
M.Tech
Duration of the course: 2 years

- The candidate should have graduated from a reputed institution with a graduate degree
B.Tech
1.The total number of seats are 60 for each branch of engineering 30 seats are filled on the basis of Common Entrance Examination conducted by Controller of Examination and remaining 30 seats are filled through management quota.
2.The Management seats are filled on the basis of:
- Marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination
- Marks obtained by the candidate in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Controller of Entrance Examinations
- Performance of the candidate at an interview conducted by the institution
Candidates who wish to be considered for the seats under management quota or lapsed seats shall apply separately to the individual institutions. Application forms can be obtained from the TKM Institute of Technology or TKM College Trust Office on payment of Rs.100 (if required by post send DD for Rs.130/- addressed to TKM Institute of Technology payable at Federal Bank)

- The students should submit the following documents
