Admission Process for MMS

  • Candidates selected for admission must register to the University of Mumbai as Postgraduate Students.

  • Students who have graduated from Mumbai University must produce Transference Certificate.

  • Students from other Universities must produce a Letter of Eligibility issued by the Registrar, University of Mumbai.

  • Their admission will be confirmed only after submission of the originals of Migration Certificate, Marks sheet, Passing Certificate of Graduation.

  • Selection for PGDM is based on:

    • The past academic performance

    • Entrance exam scores

    • Participation in GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview)

    • Work experience the candidate has.

Admission Process for Other Courses.

  • Selection is based on the following factors:

    • The nature and level of work experience

Eligibility Criteria for MMS

  • Candidates who apply must have completed a Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University for Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai admissions 2019.

  • 45% aggregate marks will be considered for candidates from Backward classes and persons with disability from the state of Maharashtra.

  • They should have appeared and qualified in MAH-MBA / MMS-CET / CAT / JMET / MAT / XAT / ATMA / CMAT.

Eligibility Criteria for PGDM

  • Graduates in any discipline who have scored 50% aggregate marks in the degree are eligible to apply for admission at TIMSR, Mumbai.

  • They should have a valid score in CMAT / MHT CET 2019 / CAT / MAT / ATMA / XAT / JMET.

Eligibility Criteria for Other Courses.

MFM / MMM / MIM / MHRDM:

  • Those who apply must have a Bachelors Degree from Mumbai University or any other recognized University

  • They must have minimum two years work experience at supervisory or executive level.

  • If the candidate has work experience in more than one company, they must produce a Work Experience Certificates signed by the employers stating the nature of work must be submitted.

MFM / MMM / MIM / MHRDM (Lateral Entry to 2nd Year):

  • Candidates must have passed three years part-time Master's Degree Programme in:

    • Marketing Management

    • Financial Management

    • Information Management

    • Human Resource Development Management

  • Also, candidates who have qualified in DMS examination of the University of Mumbai with 3 years of Executive experience are also eligible to apply for admission.

The minimum cutoff is 65% in SYJC. And other Quotas are available like Marwadi, UP, etc. This college is one of the best colleges in Mumbai. There are many courses ate available in this college. It's is also a well know and established the college. Infrastructure is also awesome. It also provides extra service like library's, sorts Kota, Gymkhana etc.

The admission procedure for MMS in Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research, [TIMSR] Mumbai is given below,

Application Procedure ::

Obtain Application Form and Prospectus available online through our website or offline at TIMSR from Monday to Saturday, 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. & Sunday 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Form fee Rs. 2000/- in cash.
Fill the Application Form and submit the same with necessary documents.

Eligibility ::

Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate from any University, recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE. Those who are appearing for final examination in April-May 2016 can also apply. Candidates should have appeared for the CMAT conducted by AICTE, Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016) conducted by the DTE (15% seats will be filled by All India Quota) through CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ JMET (conducted by IITs)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2016)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by the AICTE) and should have obtained the requisite score. Candidate applying for the Hindi Minority Category should be Hindi speaking and should have passed the SSC, HSC & Degree examination from the Maharashtra State only and should be domicile in State of Maharashtra.
