TatyaSaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology (TKIET) offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of engineering. TKIET UG course is B.Tech with various specializations such as Civil, Mechanical, etc. TKIET’s PG program is M.Tech which is offered with numerous specializations. Candidates are expected to confirm their eligibility for the course prior to applying for it. All students applying for UG courses are supposed to appear for the MH CET or JEE Mains entrance exam and get a valid grade.

For the M. Tech. courses at various entrances are accepted by the university like GATE conducted by IIT. Admissions are strictly based on merit and it is to be noted that in all matters regarding Admission to the Programme, the decision of the Institute will be final and binding on the applicant. The seat count for Chemical Engineering is 60 whereas for CSE and Mechanical Enginering is 180. The same is 120 for Civil Engineering and 60 for Electronics and Telecommunicatiin Engineering.

TKIET UG Admission 2024 

TKIET provides UG programs in engineering and related fields. The engineering course B.Tech, has numerous specializations students can opt from.

TKIET UG Admission Eligibility Criteria 2024

For B. Tech. The candidates need to strictly follow the below specified eligibility criteria.

• Passed HSC 45% with Physics and Mathematics subjects as compulsory subjects
• Non Zero Score in MHT-CET or Non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper-I 

TKIET PG Admission 2024

TKIET’s PG programs are Master in Technology, where students can specialize if they want to. The course is for 2 years and is offered with a number of specializations mentioned below,  

TKIET PG Admission Eligibility Criteria 2024

• Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engg. & Tech. from AICTE or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks
• Qualified score or non Qualified score  in GATE conducted by the IIT for the current academic year

TKIET Admission Process 2024

TKIET admits students who fit the particular eligibility criteria for the specific courses. For UG courses the university accepts MH CET/JEE and for PG programs it accepts GATE. 80% of seat admission is allotted through CAP rounds as per the guidelines published by MHT CET Cell / DTE/ Government of Maharashtra.

The Institute level merit list for the Candidates shall be prepared amongst the application received against a 20% Institute Level quota based on the Merit number assigned by the Competent Authority on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in MHT-CET or JEE (Main).

Steps to apply for TKIET 2024

The steps to apply to TKIET are as follows

• Step 1: Registration by a candidate for CAP is Mandatory / Compulsory, for admission against Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Seats as well as Institute Level Quota (ILQ) Seats
• Step 2: After online registration, candidates should take the printout of the application form & visit one of the Facilitation centres (FC) notified on the DTE website, for confirmation of the application form & document verification.
• Step 3: Candidate must carry all Original documents for verification while visiting FC
• Step 4: The candidate must take acknowledgement from FC after confirmation of the application form.
• Step 5: Only those candidates will be included in the Merit list prepared by competent authorities, who have confirmed their applications at FC.

It is to be noted that in all matters regarding Admission to the Programme, the decision of the Institute will be final and binding on the applicant.
