Eligibility criteria for BDS:

• Candidates who have passed HSC examination (10 +2 curriculum) of any State/CBSE/ISC or any other examination recognised as equivalent and obtained the minimum eligible marks prescribed are eligible to apply for admission to the course concerned.
• Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks (in the case of SC/ST/OBC- 40%) taking together Physics, Chemistry & Biology and pass in English in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the academic year. Date of birth given in the HSC/CBSE/ISC marks sheet or in the Birth Certificate/ Passport shall be taken for computing age of the candidate.

• The candidates who are eligible as stipulated by The Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R MEDICAL UNIVERSITY can get the application forms from the Trust office or College office.
• The candidates can get the application forms from the Trust office or College office.
• The candidates can apply along with the copies of their mark sheets of the 10th and 12th exams, Transfer Certificate, Age proof and Community certificate (For Scheduled Class and Scheduled Tribes), migration certificate (in the case of students from other states).
• The candidates from other states and countries should get their eligibility certificate from The Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R MEDICAL UNIVERSITY before applying.
