Application Process for Undergraduate programmes :
The candidate needs to register for the SET Test and apply as per the requirements are given in the prospectus.
The candidates who want to apply for Health Science and the Engineering field may not apply for the SET Test and can directly apply through the official website of the respective institutes.
The candidates applying for the SET Test can pay the exam fees Rs 1500/- through a post of cheque or Demand Draft to the University address.
Application Process for Postgraduate programmes:
The interested candidate needs to check the eligibility and apply for the SNAP test through the University website and download the admit card.
The application for the other programmes is updated by the university every year and made available to the public through the university website or the newspaper.
The admission to all the Under Graduate Programmes is done through an entrance exam Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET Test)
Apply for the SET Test through the official website of Symbiosis International University Pune and pay the application fees through an online gateway or post it through demand draft.
The candidates for Health Science and Engineering may not apply for SET Test if he/she wants to get selected through other entrance exams like JEE Main etc.
Give the SET exam and wait for the results. Once the results are out the colleges under SIU will release their respective shortlisted students and also a waiting list.
The candidates applying for the postgraduate programme of the MBA has to appear for the exam of SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test)
The candidate needs to register for the SNAP Test.
Then the candidate registers for the programs he/she is interested in.
Then the candidate pays the SNAP Test registration fee and the programme registration fee.
The candidate gives the SNAP Test.
The candidate makes his/her choice and joins the program he/she is offered a place at by paying that particular MBA program's fees and completing other formalities.
Once the candidate is shortlisted he/she can go for the further selection process and the counseling.
The candidate must submit the following certificates:
The mark sheets statements of the last qualifying exams from a recognized university by and credible organization.
The provisional/passing certificate of the last qualifying examination from a recognized board.
The Transfer Certificate as issued by the College/School/Institute of the last qualifying examination.
The migration certificate from the last recognized Board/University.
The cast certificate as issued by Tehsildar/ Deputy Collector/ Sub Divisional Magistrate or
by the Competent Authority
The candidate applying for the seats reserved under different quotas have to show any of the following certificates:
Certificate of Disability issued by Competent Govt. Medical Authority
Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Certificate
Dependent of Defence personnel Certificate
Change of Name Certificate (Govt. Gazette)
Certificate of Registration.
Self-attested Certificate of Registration issued by the respective council.
The candidate must have graduated from any recognized/statutory University and must have a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
The programmes of particular discipline or specialization need the interested candidates to check the eligibility from the respective institutes.
The candidates who have completed their qualifying degree from the foreign universities must have equivalence certificate as obtained from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
