Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • Candidates taking part in Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan admissions 2019 must have passed [10+2] or equivalent examination from a recognized state/ central board.

  • Candidate must have scored at least 45% (round number) aggregate marks.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

  • Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree or equivalent exam of minimum 3 years duration from recognized University/ Institution.

  • The aspirant must have scored minimum 50% (Round Number) aggregate marks 

  • Cutoff reduced to 45% aggregate marks in case of reserved category.

  • The candidates may seek admission through CMAT Score.

  • The candidate appearing for the final year of graduation examination and having valid CMAT score will be permitted to appear in the counselling.

  • The admission will be subject to the candidate furnishing the mark sheet /degree of qualifying examination within the stipulated time.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm

  • The candidate must have minimum 45% marks in [10+2] from a recognized board/institution.

  • Cutoff relaxed to 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/SBC (non-creamy layer) of Rajasthan state 

  • Candidate must have had Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

  • The candidate must have studied one of the subjects Biology / Mathematics as optional subjects.

  • Direct admission to B.Pharm-II year through Lateral Entry for D. Pharm holders:

    • Candidate should have an aggregate of 50% marks in D.Pharm.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

  • Candidate must have passed undergraduate [10+2+3] qualifying examination or equivalent.

  • The candidate must have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (6.25 CGPA on 10 point scale)

  • Cutoff brought down to 50% aggregate marks (5.75 CGPA on 10 point scale) in case of candidates belonging to ST/ SC of Rajasthan State

  • Candidate can seek to apply if they fall under any one of the following categories:

    • Candidates who have passed BE/ B.Tech examinations (in the related branch of engineering) from a recognized University/Institution or any other equivalent examination.

    • Candidates qualifying through examinations that are conducted by institutions recognized by MHRD / UGC / AIU / UPSC / AICTE as equivalent to BE/B.Tech

    • Candidates that have an M.Sc, MCA seeking admission to M.Tech programs should possess valid and qualified GATE score of the relevant branch.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:- 1. first student has to take participate in counseling where recruitment of his/her documents like jee mains score card,10th marks sheet,12th marks sheet. counseling fee of 10,000 rupees you also have to submit by e-mitra or demand draft. this fee later will be added to student's course fee or refunded.

Admission counseling is open for the session 2016-17:

Centralized admissions to M.Tech I year are done through Coordinator CAM on merit basis every year. The online counseling will be conducted for valid Gate Score / without Gate score candidates by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

Candidates can fill online application form with details of academic qualification and valid gate score (If appeared) at following websites:

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates should possess not less than 55% (6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale and equivalent) and 50% (5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale and equivalent) in case of SC/ST/OBC/SBC (Non Creamy Layer) in qualifying examinations under following categories:

  • Candidates should have passed BE / BTech Degree (in related branch of engineering) of RTU or any other recognized University / Institution or any other examinations recognized as equivalent thereto by competent authority.

  • Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by MHRD / UGC / AIU / UPSC / AICTE

  • Candidates having M.Sc., MCA and are seeking admission to certain M.Tech. programmes should posses valid and qualified GATE score of the relevant branch.

  • The equivalency of any degree for admission to any programme will be decided by University. The eligibility criteria given in the following table are minimum and merely possessing the same does not qualify the eligibility for admissions. University may prescribe any other requirements over and above these conditions. If a recognized university has an approved conversion formula of CGPA into percentage then it will be applicable on producing the certificate of conversion from the concerned University.

Note: Candidates who are appearing in qualifying examinations in the academic session 2014-15 are also eligible for M.Tech. admission provided they fulfill eligibility criteria. However, they are required to submit marks sheet of qualifying examination as per schedule positively, failing which their admission shall be cancelled.

 

Merit List Criteria:

RTU shall prepare a merit list of the candidates in the following order of priority:

  1. Valid GATE Score with qualifying marks not less than the cutoff marks for the category to which the candidate belongs and having Engineering Degree of a recognized university or equivalent.

  2. Candidates, not possessing UG degree in engineering but a valid GATE score with qualifying marks not less than the cutoff mark in the relevant engineering discipline and having M.Sc., MCA degree.

  3. Marks in the qualifying examination (For those not falling in categories from (i) and (ii).
