Stella Maris is an Arts and Science women's Catholic minority college situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Established in 1947, it acquired autonomous status in 1987. The College was started with 32 students on roll. Currently, over 5000 students are enrolled in the college. Stella Maris College admission aims to provide education to the economically and socially marginalised sections of society.

How will the applicants know if they are shortlisted?
- The shortlisted applicants will be informed through SMS and Email.
When will the admission result be announced?
- The list of provisionally admitted students will be uploaded by 8:00 pm on the day of the interview.
When do classes begin?
- Classes will begin in the third week of June.
The eligibility criteria for this course is an undergraduate degree in any arts or engineering course. We had a simple writing exam based on current affairs for the entrance. They do not prefer to select you by marks. But by your knowledge on current affairs.
Eligibility criteria were 10+2 from commerce background. There were no entrance tests. The minimum cut off mark required was 80%.
UG result with 85% and above marks with all clear in all papers and I have taken an aptitude test with one to one interview.
12th results, interview and a written test. Cut off is 95%. We did not have to write an entrance exam.
1150 marks for B.Com department There wasn't any entrance exam in Stella Maris cutoff was 750.
