Application Process for St Francis College, Hyderabad Admissions 2019


  • The student has to register themselves by selecting one of the courses listed on the homepage of the College website.

  • Give a proper contact number for receiving further information from College.

  • Username shared by the college will be identification number for the student till the Roll Numbers are assigned.

  • Attach Application form with necessary Document and summit within the specified date.  

  • Once the application form is filled and application fee is paid the status will change to complete.

  • The application fee is non-refundable.

  • The status will be updated and intimated after successful completion of every step. The students are requested to check the status regularly.

  • Scanned passport size photo

  • Scanned marks memo

  • Scanned birth certificate

  • Scanned copy of aadhar Card.

Admission Process for St Francis College, Hyderabad


  • Admission will be made in the order of merit based on the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in

    the optional subjects & English (excluding the Second language).

  • Once completing the application Process the student will be called for the Spot Admission Process along with the Original Document.

  • The student applied for the BMS Course is strictly based on Merit and Written Test.

  • Once the student is admitted in the chosen course have to pay the Annual fees through online payment.

Document Required for UG students on Spot Admission Process:

  • Printed online application form.

  • Original certificates & one set of Photocopy of the following documents.

  • Salary / Income Certificate of Parents from their place of work.

  • Photo Copy of the 10th class Marks Memorandum & Transfer Certificate.

  • Photo Copy of the Caste certificate (for S.C. /S.T.& B.C. candidates) from E-Seva

  • Letter from the Parish Priest /Pastor and the Income certificate duly attested by the parish priest/pastor is a must for admission of Catholic/ Christian Students.

  • Baptism certificate & Rs. 500/- should be paid online for Retreat. (only for Catholic & Christian students)

  • National/State level certificates for the student taking sports course.

  • Physically handicapped certificate from authorized Government Doctor for those Physical Challenged Students.

The Student having Foreign National Citizenship:

  • NRI - Copy of the Passport & Student Visa to be submitted along with the prescribed NRI Fee.

  • Signed copies of the letter of Undertaking

  • To apply for additional course student should approach the admission counter in the college.

Document required for the PG Students on Spot Admission Process:

  • Degree Marks Memorandum (I, II, III Years) & Consolidated Marks Memo (Original & One copy).

  • Degree Transfer Certificate & Bonafide / Conduct Certificate (Original & One copy).

  • Migration Certificate [Other than Osmania University] (Original & One copy).

  • Photo Copy of Degree Provisional Certificate.

  • Photo Copy of 10th and 12th Marks memo & TC.

  • Equivalency Certificate (only for candidates who have obtained Degree through Distance Education).

Admission Process for BMS

  • The students who are interested to get admission in BMS Course need to appear for the Written Admission Test.

  • The candidates also need to participate in the Group Discussion.

  • The provisionally selected candidate's list shall be displayed on the college website, subject
    to the declaration of CBSE / ICSE results.

Eligibility Criteria for BA

BA in Humanity & Social Science:

The minimum eligibility for the student to apply for BA Degree is to have at least 60% in the Optional Subject and English in the stream of Arts, Science, and Commerce.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com

B.Com (Accounting and Finance):

  • The candidates opting for the B.Com in Accountancy & Finance must have a minimum of 60% marks in their intermediate Examination.

  • 60% of the total number of seats are reserved for the students from Commerce Background.

  • And remaining 40% of available seats are reserved for the student from Science and Arts Stream.

B.Com (International Business):

  • To apply for the B.Com in International Business the student must have a 60% and above (in English and Optional Subject) in the intermediate examination.

  • Those candidates from CBSE and ICSE will require 55% and above (in English and Optional Subject) to apply for B.Com International Business. 

  • The students from any of Stream (Commerce, Science, and Arts) are eligible to apply for the course. 

B.Com Computers:

  • The candidates with 65% and above (in English & Optional Subjects) in the Intermediate examination with Commerce Background are eligible to apply for the given course.

  • Those students from CBSE / ICSE Board need 55% and above (in English and Optional Course) to apply for B.Com in Computers.

B.Com IPP:

  • The minimum marks required for the student to get admission in B.Com in IPP is to have 70% and more marks in the optional subjects & English of the qualifying examination.

  • Those candidates who cleared CPT Examination/Foundation level of CMA/CS will be given more Priority for getting admission in given course.

  • The students from all three streams are eligible to apply for the course.

Eligibility Criteria for BMS

  • The candidates must have at least 70% marks in Optional Subject and English in their Qualifying Exam.

  • Students from all three stream(Commerce, Arts, Science) can apply for the BMS Course. 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc

The minimum Qualification for the student to get admission in B.Sc is to have at least 60% marks in the concerned subject i.e Physical Science, Biology Science / Mathematics.

B.Sc. Honors (Software Engineering):

  • The minimum marks required for the student to get admission to the B.Sc. Honors (Software Engineering) is to have at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination with Mathematics.

  • NO prior knowledge of computers required.

Eligibility Criteria for MA

MA in Communication & Journalism:

  • Students who have graduated in any discipline (BA B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, BE, LLB, BL or BCA) from any University, recognized under the University Act of India, may apply to the course.

  • Those student who qualifies for the Osmania University Master of Communication and Journalism (MCJ) entrance examination are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Com

M.Com Applied Finance:

  • The candidates must complete a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Management from a recognized university.

  • Those students who obtained rank at state-level and the national-level management tests, i. e., CAT 2018, MAT and ICET, PG Entrance exam will also be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc

M.Sc Organic Chemistry:

  • Students who have graduated in the discipline of B.Sc. (with Chemistry as one of their optional subjects) from any University, recognized under the University Act of India can apply for the M.Sc Organic Chemistry.

  • Students awaiting their final year undergraduate results may also apply.

M.Sc Applied Psychology:

  • Students who have graduated in any discipline (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, BE, LLB, BL. or BCA) from any University, recognized under the University Act of India can apply for the M.Sc Applied Psychology.

  • The candidates who are qualified in the Osmania University M.A. Psychology entrance examination are also eligible to apply.

M.Sc Computer Science:

  • Students who have graduated in the discipline of B.Sc. Computer Science & B.Sc. Mathematics from any University, recognized under University Act of India can apply for the M.Sc Computer Science.

  • Those students who are awaiting their final year undergraduate results may also apply.

M.Sc Mathematics:

  • Students who have graduated in the discipline of B.Sc. (Mathematics) and B.Sc (Honors) from any University, recognized under the University Act of India, may apply to the M.Sc. Mathematics course.

  • The candidates from Loyola Academy of Chemical Technology are also eligible to apply.

M.Sc Microbiology:

  • Students who have graduated in the discipline of B.Sc. (with Life Sciences as their specialization) from any University, recognized under University Act of India, may apply to the M.Sc. Microbiology program.

  • Those students who are awaiting their final year undergraduate results may also apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Other Courses.

BA / B.Sc / BMS:

  • The minimum requirement for the student to get admission in above courses is that the students must be passed two years of Intermediate Examination conducted by the board of Intermediate Examination/Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. for admission in St Francis College, Hyderabad.
  • Or the student must be passed Examination from any other University/Board organized as equivalent by the Intermediate Board.

  • CBSE/ICSE student applying for the given courses must be passed in English subject and four other subjects.

  • Eligibility Certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education mandatory for the candidates of Boards
    other than that of Telangana /A.P. CBSE & ICSE. The Admissions of such candidates will be finalized
    only after the submission of Eligibility Certificate.

B.Voc Degree(Bachelor of Vocational Studies):

  • The candidates must have at least 60% marks in the Qualifying Examination to apply for the above course.

  • The students from all stream are eligible to apply for the B.Voc Course 

PGD Human Resource Management:

  • Any student who possesses a degree in( BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BE)Undergraduate in any Indian University are eligible to apply for the course. 

  • The candidates must have 60% in aggregate Bachelors Degree and need to be a regular candidate.

PGD Psychology Counselling Skill:

  • The applicant must possess a Degree (BA,  B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BMS, BBA, BE) recognized under University Act of India to apply for the course.

  • The candidates must have at least 50% in aggregate UG course to get applied for the course.

  • Computer skills (using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, receiving and sending emails) are a prerequisite for the course.

  2. Spot admission on given date based on the intermediate or 12th board exam marks.

Eligibility criteria:

  3. Must be younger than 30 years, Age = 17 to 30 years.

  • The eligibility criteria for getting admission in that college follows the percentage of every individual which is being partitioned into categories. Like, the percentage ranging between 90 and above admission was taken on a separate day and followed by the same procedure.

The admission procedure and fee structure for BA in St Francis College, Hyderabad is as follows :

Application forms and the Prospectus will be available online from 4th May, 2016. The cost of the Application Form and Prospectus is ₹300/-. Students seeking admission should fill in the application form and submit it online. Payment for the application form and prospectus can be made online.Please take a hard copy of the completed application form and complete the registration process at the admissions counter in the college. Alternatively, you can be submit the completed form at the admissions counter in the college.

Admission will be made in order of merit based on the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in the optional subjects & English (excluding II language). Please refer to the prospectus for eligibility criteria for admission to a course and the date and timings for Spot Admission.


At the time of admission, please submit all the Intermediate (10+2) certificates (original and photocopy of each certificate) along with the Registration fee Rs. 200/- and College Annual Fees.

However, the college does not offer B.A in Psychology.

B.A. in Humanities and Social Sciences is the only Arts course available.

The admission procedure for B.A in St Francis College, Hyderabad is given below, 

Candidates seeking admission to B.A. (1st Year) at St. Francis College For Women should have passed the two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education in Andhra Pradesh, or the equivalent exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, or an examination recognized and considered equivalent by the Osmania University.

Students who have passed the Intermediate Examination in A.P or its equivalent, with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects, are eligible to apply for B.A. courses. Admission is based on aggregate marks scored in the optional subjects.

Eligibility for Second Language

The following are the eligibility criteria for the Second Language options:

  • Candidates who have taken Telugu as their second language in the qualifying examination, i.e., (+2 & Intermediate) and those who have studied Telugu upto Class X as their First Language, are to take Telugu as their Second Language for the degree programme
  • Students who have secured marks of 80% and above in Sanskrit in the qualifying examination are eligible to opt for Sanskrit. However, there are only 80 seats available on merit

Students who have not studied French as their Second Language in the qualifying examination are eligible to opt for French.

Application forms and the college prospectus are available in the college office from May 1, 2015 onwards. The cost of registration, with the form and the prospectus is Rs. 500.

Spot Admissions

Eligible students are required to submit their Intermediate (10+2) certificates (the originals and a photocopy of each of the certificates) along with the college fees, during the spot admission process, failing which admissions will not be made.

Admissions will be made in the order of merit, based on the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in the optional subjects & English (excluding the second language). Please refer to the menu on the left for the eligibility criteria for respective courses.
