Eligibility Criteria for BDS:

  • Applicants seeking admission must possess Higher Secondary School Certificate examination of the equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together (40% aggregate marks for candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC)
  • Applicants seeking admission who belong to PH category must have secured 45% marks for BDS courses.

For the applicant to be eligible for admission to MDS  the applicant must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

  • Applicant must possess BDS examination degree from recognised dental college to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Applicant should have obtained final registration from the Dental council of India or from any state dental council upon completion of one-year compulsory rotatory internship, to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Applicants who are yet to complete their internship should submit the concerned certificate from Principal / Dean of the College, regarding the likely date of completion of the internship to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • NRI / PIO / FN applicants must possess dental qualification recognised by dental council of India. Such students must obtain registration of Dental Council of India before joining to satisfy eligibility criteria.

Application Process for BDS:

  • Applicants seeking admission seeking admission to the above-mentioned courses must have a valid score in GCET-15 and National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
  • Incomplete application form shall not be accepted and if the application form is submitted after the scheduled date, then a late fine will be charged with the application fees.

Application Process for MDS:

Candidates willing to apply at Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital can avail the application forms from the University admission office by paying the application fee.
