School Of Open Learning (SOL) is formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Counting Education. It is affiliated to University of Delhi. This University was established in 1962. The School offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the field of Arts and Commerce. SOL Application Form

The Application Form for School of Open learning can be filled by the following steps:

Online Mode:

  • The Candidate can register by visiting the official website of DU SOL.
  • The application form must be filled with all the required details.
  • The Candidate must upload the required documents and click on the “submit” button.
  • Payment for the application form can be paid via Internet banking or Credit/Debit card.

SOL Admission Fees

  • Based upon the course, the candidate choose for SOL fee structure varies.
  • For B.Com it's 3,350/- per annum and for MA it's 4,990/- per annum.

Entrance Exam by SOL 

  • The University conducts its own entrance exam known as DU SOL.
  • Depending upon the marks obtained in the entrance exam, seats are allotted.

DU SOL Hall Ticket Download

Step 1: The candidate must enter the SOL Roll Number and Barcode.

Step 2: Then click the “Log in” button.

Step 3: The candidate can then click on “Download Exam Hall Ticket for 2019”

Step 4: The admit card will display on the screen.

Step 5: Download the admit card, the admit card must be carried on the day of examination.

DU SOL Preparation Tips

  • The candidates can refer previous year sample question papers.
  • They must go through the syllabus thoroughly.
  • Time Management is very much important, the candidate must make sure that he solves all the problems within the time given.

  • The Results will be announced on the university official website.

  • Candidate must have completed (10+2) with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible for admission in BCom Hons course offered by Delhi university.
  • Admission in Bcom Hons generally starts in the month of June. However, interested aspirants can check the date and prospectus available in DU SOL website. Online application form date is 29 June. Offline application form date is 9 July. The last date to apply without late fees is 17 August.

Delhi university, school of open learning which is also know as DU SOL offer B.COM proram and the eligibility criteria is 40% or above for the admission in it. There is no entrance exam for admission in B.COM  A student can complete the admissions process via both online and offline (walk in) mode.  Anyone can apply for it after completing high school. Students who have cleared 10+2 are eligible and no. Min percentage is required to get admission. It has 2 branches north and south campus. North for all hons. No entrance examination is held its annual examination held every year on may and June. No cutoffs.

The admission criteria were fairly simple. We went to the official website of SOL and uploaded documents like mark sheets of class 10th and 12th after signing up. Then simply paid the processing fee. That's about it. Had to visit the center in Delhi to verify the documents and collect the study material.

The eligibility criteria are minimum 50% in 12 class on any board. We have to fill online form for the 1st year applying for the course and then submitting document like mark sheet admit card or caste certificate. There is not an entrance exam because it is distance course so there is no need of that.

School of open learning is the good option for students, who want to do something other with college, It comes under Delhi University. In terms of eligibility, the student must be 12th pass and there is no entrance required to get admission into SOL. There are no typical cutoffs, for admission.
