Application Process - School of Engineering and Technology - Jain University, Bangalore

  • Application mode is completely online. The official website of the School of Engineering and Technology can be visited.

  • The application can be made through fours steps.

Step 1: New User Registration

  • The relevant details must be entered carefully in the registration form.

  • An authentication Email will be sent to the Email ID of the applicant.

  • Authentication must be completed to go further in the application process.

  • All communication regarding the application will be sent to the registered Email and mobile no. of the applicant.

Step 2: Online Filling of the Application Form

  • Information like personal information, academic information, address, and other additional information must be added before submitting the form.

  • Final choosing of test centre is done while applying.

  • After filling upload a recent passport size photo of the candidate. (Format =  .jpg / .png) (File Size = <50 KB)

  • Upload the soft copy of the candidate's 10th Marks sheet. (Format =  .jpg / .png / .PDF) (File Size = <100 KB)

  • For PG course, also upload 12th and all semester Marks sheets from Degree.

  • An application number will be generated for future reference.

Step 3: Payment Mode

  • Application fee can be paid online through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.

  • Application fee for General Category students is INR 550/-.

NOTE:

  • If the amount if debited the applicants are advised not to try new application but to wait for 24 hours and try again with the same registered Email ID.

  • If the amount is not debited then it is advised to try the payment again.

  • There is no need to send the hard copy of the application after applying online.

  • Candidates who fit the eligibility criteria will be given provisional admission.

  • They must verify their documents at the time of admission.

Admission Process for M.Tech

M.Tech Admission Process - School of Engineering and Technology - Jain University, Bangalore

  • Admissions to M.Tech course will be done on the basis of Interview conducted by the University and the following:

    • JET - Jain Entrance Test

    • GATE

    • Any State Level Entrance Exam

  • Students with provisional admission must pay the admission fee within 21 days of the provisional admission.

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission:

  • Class 10th Marks Sheet - Original with 2 photocopies

  • Class 12th / PUC Marks Card - Original with 2 photocopies

  • All Semesters Diploma Marks Sheet (If applicable)

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • For School of Engineering and Technology - Jain University admissions 2019, the minimum requirement is to have completed 10+2 with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board of education.

  • The candidates must have studied Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry / Electronics / Computer Science / Biology as optional subjects.

  • Relaxation of 5% will be given to students of reserved categories.

  • JET / Uni-GAUGE entrance exam scores are accepted.

  • Eligibility criteria for any stream will be a minimum score of 65% in 12th std . Admission procedure will be taken care by an executive from university admission department will contact and all the proceedings will be taken care by the personal. Karnataka common entrance test (K-CET) is considered for admission in the college. Jain entrance test is also conducted for students to join engineering through merit Cutoff differ every year. For mechanical it will be in and around 30000.

Eligibility criteria for this course depends on your +2 percentage, before there was entrance exams called jain engineering entrance test and others like JEE ,KCET. But from 2016 they are providing only management seats , so there is no entrance exam.
