The college presently offers Undergraduate courses in engineering. The candidates must pass the intermediate examination from Tamil Nadu H.S.C or any other equivalent examination recognized by Anna University to get admission in RMK Engineering College, Thiruvallur. The candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the intermediate (10+2) class. The minimum marks required in the intermediate examination for the OC category is 50% marks. The candidates from the Vocational centre and Diploma Holders are also eligible with satisfying minimum marks required for the application.

BE/ B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The student should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects or passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university as defined by UGC.

The college presently offers 3 Post Graduate courses. For admission to Masters in Engineering (ME) candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the college. All admissions are made strictly following the college rules in force at the time of admission.

ME Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required for M.Tech courses. For M.Tech programs, admission will be granted based on the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) score. The candidate should have passed BE/ B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline.

ME Selection Process

The admission will be granted based on the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) score.

RMK Engineering College MS/ PhD Admission 2024

The college presently offers 7 Doctoral/ MS courses. For admission to PhD, candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the college. All admissions are made strictly following the college rules in force at the time of admission. The school likewise offers Doctoral Certificate courses that grant the degrees of MS (By research) and PhD. Both degrees are offered under various specializations. The Center for Research will screen the applications according to the qualification standards, and the Center for Entrance Examinations will be liable for the lead of the test for qualified up-and-comers.
