Rani Channamma University was established in the year 2010 by the Government of Karnataka. RCUB being a very young University; it is the largest University in the state engulfing the jurisdictions of Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Bagalkot districts with a distinct academic profile, blending in itself commitment to rural ethos and a modern spirit, and catering especially to the students of North Karnataka, the university has three Post-Graduate Centres, ‘Vachana Sangama’at Vijayapura, ‘Anubhava Sangama’ at Bagalkote. Rani Channamma University Admission 2024

The university is now open for various courses at UG, and PG level. Rani Channamma University is offering 21 Post Graduate (PG) and Ph. D., programs in the faculties of Arts, Science, Education, Social Science, Commerce and Management, Journalism. At present, there are more than 1500 students studying in the various PG Departments, more than 130 students have been awarded Ph.D. degrees in the last five years.
