• RIT is a Government Institution, admission is based on the basis of merit/rank obtained in the Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the commissioner for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala.
• There are no management quota/seats available in the institution.
• Application for the Entrance Examination is invited by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, through a common notification.

Direct method:

• Each candidate can get the admission application forms directly from the Office of Admission upon the payment of admission application fee.
• The application forms must be submitted within the last day.
• The dates for submission will be made available on the website.

Online method:

• The candidate can also register on the University page. Once this is done the candidates are required to fill the login details a password will be sent to their registered email by which candidate can log in and fill the form.
• Payment of the admission application fee can be made through Demand draft as well as net banking. 

B.Arch , B.Tech

The following documents /certificates are t be submitted at the time of admission.

1. Admit card of the examination
2. birth certificate
3. certificates of SSLC and 12th standard
4. Eligibility certificate ( if available)
5. Migration certificate (if available )
6. Physical Fitness certificate
7. Receipt of fee remitted in the bank
8. Mark Data sheet of the examination
9. Allotment memo issued by CEE
10. Income Certificate and Caste ertifiate

One photocopy of each must be submitted.

The following fees are to be remitted in the case of excess of fee remitted to SBT
