NPGC Lucknow Application Form

• Application forms for LUACMAT 2024 will be obtained from the counter of NPG College and all participant colleges on payment of ₹ 900/- .
• Forms will only be available for a limited number of days. Completed forms should be submitted on-line or at the counter of the NPG College before the last date at a given time.
• The admit card for admission test shall be issued from the counter at the time of submission of forms. In case of on-line application forms admit-cards may be downloaded from the college website.
• Applicants can also download the Application form and the Prospectus from the website. 
• Downloaded forms complete forms along with a Demand Draft of ₹ 1000/- favouring National PG College payable at Lucknow may also be sent by post so as to reach the College before a given last date.
• Admit Cards of forms sent by post may be collected from the counter on the day of examination at least one hour prior to the commencement of the exam.

NPGC Lucknow Admission Fees

For different courses, NPGC Lucknow fees structure varies according to the course duration and other factors. Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA/BBA(MS)/BBA(T)) course has a fee of INR 31,500/- per semester, while Bachelor of Computer Applications(BCA) has a fee of about INR 30,500/- per semester.

Entrance Exams Accepted by NPGC Lucknow

National Post Graduate College,Lucknow selects candidates through different ways for Undergraduate(UG) and Postgraduate(PG) courses.

 Entrance Examinations for Undergraduates

• The admission process for the undergraduate program in NPGC Lucknow will be based on merit, followed by Lucknow University Associated Colleges Management Admission Test (LUACMAT) and counselling.

LUACMAT - Test conducted by St Stephen’s College

• Admission Test for BBA,BBA(MS) and BBA(T) comprises of two papers, each of sixty minutes duration. The paper would consist of 75 objective questions each.
• Admission Test for BCA / B.Voc.(SD & EG) is of 90 minutes duration.The paper would consist 100 multiple choice questions. 
• Admission Test for BAJMC / B.Voc. (Banking) will be of 60 minutes duration with 75 multiple choice questions.
• Admission Test for B.Com.(Hons.) will be of 90 minutes duration with 100 multiple choice questions. There won’t be any negative marking.

NPGC Lucknow Application Procedure

• Read the prospectus carefully before filling the application form.
• Self attested copies of the following documents must be attached: 
  1. Pass Certificate and marksheet of X and XII or equivalent examinations.
  2. Photocopies(self attested) and Original mark-sheets,certificates of class X and class XII.  
  3. In case the candidate passed his/her qualifying examination in the year 2018 or earlier, documentary proof must be furnished to the effect that:
     1. The candidate had not taken admission in any other College or University in 2018-19
     2. Notarized declaration certifying that the candidate was not involved or under suspicion/trial under any provision(s) of the IPC.
  4. Character Certificate and Transfer Certificate in original from the head of the institution from where the applicant passed his/her last examination as regular candidate. TC and CC in original have to be submitted/surrendered at the time of counselling.
  5. Original Caste Certificate issued by competent authority for claiming reservation under Government Rules.

• Candidates qualifying in the entrance test will be required to appear along with their parents/guardians before the Admission Committee for interview / counseling. 
• Incomplete application forms shall not be considered for admission
• No admission form shall be entertained after the due date. 
• Application forms completed in all respects along with copies of required documents will be accepted till the last date.  
• Counselling fee ₹ 400 (Cash) should be paid at the time of admission.

• What is the admission procedure to get into National PG College, Lucknow?
  -Steps needed to follow to get admission in NPG is :-

  1. You have to fill the entrance exam form which is available nowadays i.e from 1–2 week of April.

  2. Date of entrance exam will be announced.

  3. Sit for the exam and if you crack it you will get the date of counseling and on the same date you may get admission.

  4. Fees submission will also be done on the same day and fees will be accepted either through card or DD,cash system is ignored.

  5. You will get the schedule of your classes on the same day.

  6. This is all a student is required to do to get enrolled in college.

• Can a person get admission in National PG College, Lucknow after getting a compartment?
  -There is an entrance exam(LUACMAT) conducted by the college to get addmission in it. But if a person has a compartment in his/her 12th exam then the person can give the entrance exam but will get addmission only when he/she pass your compartment exam.No Colleges admit students who had compartment. If the person isn’t satisfied he/she can go for the college website. 

• What is the best way to clear the LUACMAT conducted by National PG College, Lucknow?
  -NPGC conducts separate entrance exams for admission into different courses​ . For example you will have LUACMAT for admission into the professional courses and separate exams for courses like B.com,BA etc. In Bcom,BA and B.Sc questions are asked from the class 12th syllabus of the respective subject. In the exam questions from general awareness, reasoning, quantative ability(please check the exact syllabus in the College website) along with the main question (like if you appear for BBA you'll also get questions from commerce).You can refer to your class 12th & 11th NCERT books for the preparation .Basics are really important. Books like those by Arihant for preparing Quant and reasoning for LUACMAT can also be reffered. So try to cover as much as you can and devote ample amount of time to revision of the important topics .

  -LUACMAT (Lucknow University Associated Colleges Management Admission Test) is a gateway to professional courses in associated colleges of Lucknow University. It usually is held in the end of June month. The common entrance test is conducted by National PG College.
