Application Process for National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Warangal Admissions 2020


Application Process for B.Tech

  • Application process for the student to get admission in B.Tech is done through an Online Application form in JEE Official Website.

  • Once receiving the online application Link one has to register with proper Email ID and Password.

  • Fill out the necessary information asked in the Application Form.

  • Before submitting the application form one has to attach all the valid Documents.

  • Before final submission of the form, verify the information carefully and once the form is submitted the information cannot be changed.

  • Make final submission and pay all fees related to the application process.

  • Application form with irrelevant information will be rejected by the concerned authority. 

  • Copy of final submitted Application Form must be required for the future reference.

  • Eligible candidates must download the Admit Card and print the copy through Laser Printer which is used during Examination till Admission Process.

Application Process for MBA

  • The candidates can apply for the admission by downloading the application form which is available on the College Website. 

  • Then fill up the necessary information asked in the Application Form and attached with Photocopies of required Document.

  • Application Form fees must be paid through SBI and not refundable in case the payment is done through mobile payments (IMPS), NEFT, RTGS and Direct Transfer. 

Document To Be Enclosed With Application Form:

  • Copy of SSC in support of Date of Birth

  • Copy of Intermediate/(10+2) Certificate

  • Copy of Provisional Pass Certificate / Degree Certificates.

  • Copies of Marks Memos / Grade Sheets of the qualifying examinations.

  • Copy of Study and Conduct Certificate.

  • Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate

  • Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST candidates)

  • For OBC candidates, OBC certificate issued.

  • Copy of Physically Handicapped Certificate, if applicable.

  • Relief Certificate from the employer, if employed.

  • Copy of the CAT / MAT Rank Card with a valid score or admit card of CAT / MAT Exam.

Application Process for MCA

  • The candidates can apply for the MCA Course by visiting NIMCET Official Website.

  • Register your self by creating login, Password and fill out the form online with proper information.

  • Attach the necessary documents (Duely self-attested and scanned) with the application form before submitting.

  • Once the documents are uploaded along with application form then click on "Review the Application".

  • Submission of application must be done before the stipulated date.

  • Once submission of form is done then the page is lead to Payment Gate Way to pay the Application fees.

  • One final submission is done the copy of application form must be downloaded for the future reference.

  • The application form without relevant document will be rejected immediately.

  • Eligible candidates must download the Admit Card and print the copy through Laser Printer which is used during Examination till Admission Process.

Application Process for M.Sc

Application Process

  • The application process can be done by visiting the official website of JAM.

  • Click on "New Registration" and fill the necessary information related to JAM so your “Full Name” will appear on the screen with your valid JAM details from the JAM database.

  • Then fill up the valid personal details and Eligibility detail asked in the application form.

  • Click “Proceed” to preview the filled in details with the Available Choices for the filled in credentials. 

  • Kindly enter a valid and strong password 2 times at “Enter Password:” and “Re-enter Password:” fields. Now click the “SUBMIT” button.

  • After submitting the form one will receive OTP in there registered Mobile number and verification must be done to generate Permanent Identifier (PID).

  • Then click on "Candidates corner" and kindly log in with PID and Password to fill Demographic Details.

  • One application form is filled one has to scan and upload the required Document.

Necessary Document Must Be Uploaded:

  • Valid qualified JAM Score Card.

  • Certificate showing Date of Birth (DOB Certificate [or] 10th Class Mark Sheet/Certificate).

  • 12th Class Mark Sheet / Any other certificate issued by NIOS or any other competent authority showing the availability of Mathematics subject at Class 12 level.

  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC with NCL), wherever applicable.

  • PWD certificate, wherever applicable

  • Photograph of candidates along with the signature.

  • All Document uploaded must be less than 1GB.

Admission Process for B.Tech

  • Admission Procedure for getting admission in any of NITs institution is fully based on the performance of students in Joint Entrance Examination(JEE). 

  • Once the applicant is qualified in JEE Examination has to bring all Original Certificate for the final verification.

Admission Process for MCA

  • The admission in MCA Course is fully based on the rank obtained by the candidates in NIMCET Examination and the choice of institute filled by the candidates online.

  • Those candidates qualified in NIMCET Examination will be allowed to fill the choices of Institutes in which they wish to take admission into MCA programme.

  • Candidates are required to use there Login ID and Password to fill the choices of institutions through Online.

  • Candidates need to pay Rs. 10,000/- as initial fee through NIMCET website only before going for remote reporting to any of the participating NITs.

Admission Process for M.Sc

  • The admission for the student in M.Sc is fully based ranks obtained for the candidates in IIT-JAM Entrance Examination.

  • Once the applicant is qualified in JEE-Main Examination has to bring all Original Certificate for the final verification.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • The candidates interested in any of the NIT institutions whose admission is based on the JEE ranks must have at least 75% marks in their Intermediate class Examination National Institute of Technology, Warangal admissions 2019

  • Or the student must be in the top 20 list of there Intermediate Class Examination conducted by the respective Board of Education.

  • Those candidates from ST/SC background need a minimum of 65% marks in their intermediate Examination to qualify in JEE Entrance Examination.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

  • The student from first-class Bachelor Degree in Engineering and Technology from any recognized University can apply for the MBA in National Institute of Technology.

  • The candidates must have at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-Point Scale and valid CAT/MAT score.

  • For the candidates from ST/SC, the minimum marks required is 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA in 10-Point Scale with valid CAT/MAT Exam.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

  • The candidates must have at least 65% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on 10-Point Scale.

  • Those candidates from SC/ST require at least 55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-Point Scale.

  • Also the student from B.Sc / BCA / B.Tech / B.Sc (Hons) / BE and BIT of minimum three years from any recognized University can also apply for the NIMCET Examination.

The candidates must have a B.Sc bachelor's degree from any recognized university to apply for the given course.

Ph.D:

Engineering Department:

  • Students with Master's / M.Sc Degree in Engineering  / Technology in the appropriate branch of study with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in 10-Point Scale for admission under OBC and OC category are eligible to apply.

  • For those SC/ST category, the minimum requirement is 55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on 10-Point Scale from recognized University. 

  • Those students from Bachelor's in Technology / Engineering with valid gate score and at least 8.0 CGPA on 10-Point Scale or 75% of marks under OC/OBC category and at least 7.5 CGPA on 10-Point Scale or 70% for candidates under SC/ST category.  

Science Department:

  • The student with Masters Degree in the relevant discipline of Science (Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry)/ B.Tech or equivalent degree/ M.Tech or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA in PG for candidates under OC/OBC category.

  • The student from SC/ST category requires 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA in there Post Graduate Course. 

  • All candidates must have a valid mark in there GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR NET Examination.

Humanities Department:

  • The student with a Masters Degree in the relevant discipline of English with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA in PG for candidates under OC/OBC category.

  • The student from SC/ST category requires 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA in there Post Graduate Course. 

  • All candidates must be qualified in there GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET Examination.

Social Management:

  • The student with a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA in PG for candidates under OC/OBC category.

  • The student from SC/ST category requires 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA in there Post Graduate Course. 

  • All candidates must be qualified in there GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET Examination.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Eligibility criteria are BE / B.Tech with a minimum aggregate score of 60% from 10th onwards and a valid CAT/MAT score. The admission procedure is the same as every other B-School which starts with the evaluation of CAT/MAT score followed by GD/PI and the evaluation of Mark Sheets.

I have appeared for both CAT and MAT but I applied through MAT score.

The typical cut off for CAT score starts from 75-80 percentile and MAT score starts from 85-90 percentile.

Academic Eligibility

Applicant must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent [See Appendix I] from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities www.aiuweb.org

Applicant should have completed successfully Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology) in 11th AND / OR 12th, as applicable in the respective boards
