Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
  • The admission procedure or selection criteria is through jee mains.
  • The cut off in mechanical for state quota students were higher and computer science was very much in demand for other state quota students. Now with the introduction of integrated courses, all India rank upto 45000 and state rank upto 300 will give you a seat in NIT if you are from general category. As for other category students are concerned cut off can go as low as all India rank 150000.

You must have at least 75 percent in 10+2 and as it is a technical college, so you must be in science stream which is also required for applying JEE MAIN(entrance exam which is compulsory). At last, you have to qualify JEE MAIN that is your marks in JEE MAIN is greater than or equal to cutoff which is according to your category which changes every year

To begin with its a beautiful college amidst the mountains. You can easily sail through the JEE (joint entrance exam) after or during your intermediate and with a rank of 25000 can easily get in the chemical branch. Though the placement scenario is not hopeful you will have great faculty and students around you.
