Admission Process for MBA

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

For MBA / MBA (HR):

  • The candidates who apply should have graduated with three or five year LLB degree from recognized Universities

MBA: The candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution. They should have a minimum score of 50 percent in their qualifying degree.

PGDM: The candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution. They should have a minimum score of 50 percent in their qualifying degree.

Application procedure: The candidates can apply online at the official website, atwww.nmims.edu.

Application fee: If applying for only one course at any of the three campuses, Mumbai, Hyderabad or Bangalore, the candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 1,100.

If the candidates are applying for both the courses at any of the two campuses, Mumbai, Hyderabad or Bangalore, then they are required to pay a fee of Rs 1,500.

Selection procedure:

  • The candidates are required to appear and clear the NMAT by GMAC for any of the NMIMS courses
  • The candidates who clear this exam will be called for a Case Discussion and Personal Interview round
  • Those candidates who clear these rounds will then have to present their past academic performance, work experience, etc.

Important dates:

  • October 19: Last date for submitting registrations
  • October 6 to December: Candidates can appear for NMAT
  • January 15, 2016: Declaration of results

Selection Process

i. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in NPAT

ii. Candidates will be called for counseling session at Mumbai based on the merit list

iii. In the counseling session candidates will be given admission to various disciplines as per their merit, choice and availability of discipline as per eligibility criteria

iv. The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained

  • Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. * Sub clauses 3.1 to 3.8 are also applicable.

Admission Process:

Stage 1 – NMAT by GMAC™ Exam is a mandatory requirement for applying to NMIMS University programmes. For more information please visit www.nmat.org.in. The score of the NMAT by GMAC™ exam for all the NMIMS applicants will be submitted by GMAC to NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University).

Stage 2 – Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) only for shortlisted candidates
