  • The application form for the PGDM program is available at the official website of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.

  • The students applying for PGDM shall go to the "Academics" option.

  • Select "Full-Time Programs" and "PGDM".

  • Click on "How to Apply".

  • Register for the NMAT exam by filling in the details and pay the registration fee.

  • Register for the exam before applying at NMIMS.

  • Visit the NMIMS website and complete the application process by entering the registration number.

  • Pay the application fee of Rs 1300/- for the PGDM program.

  • The applicants can re-take the test and re-apply for the program by paying application fee of Rs 1600/-.

  • Payment can be done using the credit card, debit card, and net banking.

  • The NMAT exam will be conducted at PAN India.

  • Foreign candidates must apply separately to the program.

PGDM (Banking & Financial Services):

  • The applicants can download the application form available at website to apply for PGDM in Banking & Financial Services.

  • Fill the details and pay application fee of Rs 250/-.

  • Payment can be made through electronic banking (NEFT/RTGS).

  • Submit the application form along with the documents through the mail.

Admission Process for PGDM

  • The admission process for the PGDM program at NMIMS is based on the academic performance of the candidate in graduation.

  • The students applying for the program must take NMAT exam and qualify with valid scores to get through the admissions.

Eligibility Criteria for BBA

  • The applicant must appear for the NPAT exam for the eligibility of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies admissions 2020. The NPAT exam is held nationwide.

  • They must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board of education.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc

  • The applicant must appear for the NPAT exam to enroll for the program after completing 10+2 from any recognized board.

  • The NPAT exam is held nationwide.

  • The applicants can specialize in B.Sc Finance or Economics in the final year of graduation.

Eligibility Criteria for PGDM

  • The eligibility of the candidate depends upon the consistent academic records in graduation.

  • A minimum of 55% marks must be scored by the applicant in the graduation from a recognized university.

  • All students applying for the PGDM program must take up NMAT exam conducted by GMAC.

  • Students are eligible for the program if they qualify the NMAT exam with valid scores.

  • The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies does not provide Management Quota for the postgraduate programs.

  • The program is open for the candidates having 1-2 years of work experience.

  • Foreign candidates can also enroll for the program.




Candidate having 55% and above in graduation is eligible to apply for the program. A valid score in NMAT exam is mandatory

PGDM (Banking & Financial Services)

Eligibility Criteria for Other Courses.

PGDM (Executive):

  • The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

  • The applicant must have a consistent academic record.

  • The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience after graduation.

PGDM (Data Science & Analytics):

  • Minimum 55% marks must be obtained by the candidate in 12th standard.

  • Mathematics or Statistics should have been mandatory subjects in 12th standard.

  • The candidate having 2 or more years of work experience are also eligible to apply.

What is the admission procedure for PGDM in Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies

Number of seats in PGDM – Bengaluru Campus : 180seats.

Note:*30% Seats in the MBA Programs of NMIMS will be for Girls.

Admission for all the Full Time Programmes mentioned above is through NMAT by GMAC™ exam. For all exam related information please visit Candidates can apply for more than one Programme and more than one campus.


PGDM - Bengaluru campus is :

Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.

Note 1: As per University Grants Commission (UGC) notification - F. No. UGC/DEB/2013 dated 14.10.2013 – "Degrees / Diplomas / Certificates awarded for programmes conducted by the ODL institutions, recognized by DEC (erstwhile) and UGC, in conformity with UGC Notification on specification of Degrees should be treated as equivalent to the corresponding awards of the Degree / Diploma / Certificate of the traditional Universities / institutions in the country".

Note 2: AIU certificate is mandatory for those candidates who have completed their graduation from overseas Universities.

Note 3: Reservation of seats for the widows / wards of armed forces personnel killed / disabled in action or during peace time and wards of Kashmiri migrants will be applicable provided such candidates successfully meet the specified cut-offs and eligibility criteria of the respective program /s applied for at the time of registration and also qualify the NMAT Test cut off.

3·1 For all the full time programs, candidates who are appearing for the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. Provisional admission is subject to clearing the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree with 50 % aggregate marks and selected candidates must produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.

3·2 For all the Full Time programs, candidates having two and more years of postqualification work experience will be preferred.

3.3 The candidate must have appeared for all his subject(s) / exams before the commencement of the respective program (s) of NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University). The examination of none of the subjects should be held after the commencement of the respective course. Also the candidate should be declared pass in all the above referred subjects (s) / examinations by the University from where he / she is graduating from, with minimum passing requirements (minimum 50% marks in the aggregate).

3·4 At the time of admission, candidate has to produce semester-wise / trimester-wise / consolidated (only if individual mark sheets are not issued by University / Institute) mark sheets of all years of the college from which he/she is graduated. In case of internet copies of mark sheets, attestation by Principal with official seal is mandatory.

3·5 The candidates, who have passed or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained in writing from the University concerned.

3·6 It is sole responsibility of the candidate to ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for the admission at NMIMS, as verification of the documents is done at the time of final admission.

3·7 If at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him/ her in the online registration is incorrect, his/her Page 4 of 11 application for the admission to the Programme, even if selected and fees paid, will stand cancelled and fees forfeited. Candidates appearing for NMAT by GMAC™ exam, Case Discussion & Personal Interview will do so at their own risk, eventually, forfeiting their admission for want of meeting the eligibility criteria. In such cases candidate will forfeit all the payments like NMAT by GMAC™ registration charges, application fees, Case Discussion - Personal Interview registration charges, Program fee etc.

3·8 NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of eligibility without intimation to the applicants.


Stage 1 – NMAT by GMAC™ Exam is a mandatory requirement for applying to NMIMS University programmes. For more information please visit The score of the NMAT by GMAC™ exam for all the NMIMS applicants will be submitted by GMAC to NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University).

Stage 2 – Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) only for shortlisted candidates

Stage 3 – Candidates’ academic performance, relevant work experience and other similar inputs. It is mandatory for candidates to fill in the application form on to confirm his candidature and be in the NMIMS admission programs for 2016-18 Batch.
