The application form for admission to Mount Carmel College, Bangalore is available for UG/PG programs through online mode only.
The application will be available from the 1st March of every year from College website
The application fees must be paid through the online payment system.
The cost of the application for the Undergraduate program is Rs.500 and for Postgraduate is Rs.700.
The soft copy of the application along with the passport size photograph with the signature should be uploaded(less than 100kb).
The reservation category student must submit the attested copy of the caste/income certificate while submitting the hard copy of the application to the admission office. during the day of admission.
Catholics should submit latest baptism certificate and Parish priest letter from the respective church.
Differentially Abled Candidates should enclose a copy of the disability or handicap certificates issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
The admission to Mount Carmel College for all the postgraduate courses will be conducted based on merit i.e. marks obtained in a qualifying examination.
Fees should be paid on the day of the personal interview. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Once admitted, all foreign nationals should apply for the Eligibility Certificate from Bangalore University through the college office.
The admission for the BBA will be based on entrance examination conducted by Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
Candidates are required to take up a written aptitude test comprising of Maths, English, Reasoning, Current Affairs and General Knowledge.
Candidates are also required to participate in a Group Discussion and undergo a Personal Interview session for Mount Carmel College, Bangalore admission 2019.

- The procedure for the application for any course is quite simple once you are clear of what you want to do. In case one has any doubt with the procedure or even the course there are a lot of staff members around that will gladly assist you to go the right way. The eligibility for any course is to have a percentage of 50% from any valid board of education.
- I did write an entrance examination for PYEC ( Communication English).
I had to go through an interview before the final selection process took place, which mainly focused on my Higher Secondary marks card. The cut off for my course (BA in Journalism, Psychology, and English Literature) was 75% for all subjects and good English speaking skills.
The candidate must have passed the 12th with minimum of 75% marks from a recognized institute. I didn't write any entrance exam. Minimum 75% cutoff mark is required for Carmelites and 90% cutoff mark is required for Non-Carmelites.
