General Requirements for Admission for Postgraduate / Undergraduate Admissions 2024

• Candidate can apply in Online for admission to MSIT Kolkata.

• The candidates qualified in the entrance exam can apply for admission. 

• To get an admission in the Institute the candidate should pass the entrance exam.

Candidate should be eligible with following criteria to get admission for B.Tech in Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata admissions 2024

• Candidate should complete the age for applying to WBJEE.

• Minimum marks needed by reserved category candidates is 40% and the general category is 45%.

• Applicant must have passed with 30% in English.

• Candidates pursuing Bachelors from any country other than India must have completed the final year examination of Bachelors in Engineering / Technology.

• Candidates pursuing final year in India can also appear for the entrance exam. 

• Graduation with relevant discipline with minimum with 50% marks.

• 45% for reserved category.

• Candidate should secure merit in CAT / MAT / JEMAT

• Applicant must be a citizen of India.

The candidate must have passed in 10+2 examination in the relevant discipline and must have compulsorily passed in English. 

For MSIT Kolkata admissions to the course BCA, the eligibility is 10+2 examination in General / Vocational streams from a recognized board and they should have passed in English, Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics / Computer Application.

• Graduation and 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject, qualifying exam of JECA.

• Candidate must be qualified with 50% marks in graduation level.

• 45% for SC/ST/OBC-B.
