Eligibility Criteria for Marian College, [MC] Idukki

Eligibility Criteria for BA

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Eligibility Criteria for BBA

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Eligibility Criteria for BCA

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.
• Candidate must have opted for science stream in 12th examinations.

Eligibility Criteria for BSW

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Com

• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business Administration/ Business Management.
• Candidate must have an aggregate of 45% or CGPA of 1.8 in the core group during UG.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from any Univerisity with an aggregate of 50% or CGPA of 2.
• SC/ST candidates only need to pass in the qualifying examination. 
• SEBC candidates will be given a relaxation of 3%
• OEC candidates will be given a relaxation of 5%
• Candidate must have done Mathematics / Computer Science as one of their courses at any time during their education.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil

• Candidate must have a Postgraduate Degree in any course from any University.
• Candidate must have an aggregate of 55% or CGPA of 2.5
• SC/ST candidates only need to pass in the qualifying examination.
• SEBC candidates will be given a relaxation of 3%
• OEC candidates will be given a relaxation of 5%

Eligibility Criteria for MSW

• Candidate must have a Postgraduate Degree in Social Work from any University.
• Candidate must have an aggregate of 55% or CGPA of 2.5
• SC/ST candidates only need to pass in the qualifying examination.
• SEBC candidates will be given a relaxation of 3%
• OEC candidates will be given a relaxation of 5%

Application Process for BA, BBA, B.Com, BCA, BSW, M.Com, MCA, M.Phil, MSW

• The application process is online only.
• The Application fee should also be remitted online only.
• The Application fee is Rs 400/- for GC Candidates
• The Application fee is Rs 200/- for SC/ST candidates.
• Application Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Candidates applying under management quota have to download an additional form after registration.
• The form has to be filled and submitted to the college office along with the course application form.
• Age proof, Eligibility Certificates must be uploaded through the 'Certificate upload' link.
• Candidates should download and bring the filled application form to the college during the admission process.

Admission Process for Marian College, [MC] Idukki

Admission Process for BA, BBA, B.Com, BCA, BSW, M.Com, MCA, M.Phil, MSW

• The college will announce the dates for commencement of Online Registration
• Apply online using the process mentioned above before the closing of registration for First Allotment.
• The college will later publish the Rank List for First Allotment.
• Admission of Candidates in the Sports, Cultural, and Physically Challenged Quota will happen first.
• Then, the admission of Candidates in the First Allotment will take place.
• The college will announce the dates for commencement of Online Registration for Second Allotment
• The second Allotment will be made only subject to the availability of vacant seats in various programs.
• Then, the college will publish the Rank List for Second Allotment.
• Admission of Candidates in the Second Allotment will then take place on the dates announced by the college.
• Selection of candidates will be based on the interview conducted during the time of admissions.
• Candidates who have applied under Sports, Cultural and Physically Challenged Quota must bring the Original Certificates during the interview to prove their claims.
• Candidates from Boards /Institutions outside the State and not approved by the University should produce Eligibility Certificate during the interview.
• Admission to management seats will be made by the Management.
• Interested students can apply.
