  • The application process for MNIT, Jaipur admissions 2019 is conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Login to JoSAA site using the JEE main credentials.

  • The data is retrieved from the JEE servers and changes can be made in the profile before submitting the application.

  • The JoSAA is conducted for 23 IIT's, 31 NIT's, 23 IIIT's and 23 GFTI (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

General Requirements for Postgraduate Admissions 2019

  • The application for the Post Graduate Programme (M.Tech / M.Plan) through CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan Admissions) which includes scholarship is available through the official website of CCMT.

  • The application for the M.Sc programme admission is available on the official website of CCMN (Centralized counseling for M.Sc  / M.Sc [Tech.]).

  • The advertisement for the MBA institute branch of MNIT Jaipur admissions will be posted on the official site in the month of February/March, and for the M.Tech Part time/ sponsored, it will be posted in April.

  • The Ph.D admission is open during June and December and their advertisement is put up on the website in the second half of April/May and second half of November respectively.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Courses

For Indian Nationals:

The applicant has to clear JEE mains in order to attend the JoSAA counseling and he has to clear the eligibility conditions as specified in the terms and conditions on the official website.

For Foreign Nationals:

  • Only the applicants aged 24 years as on October are eligible. Certificates issued by the Government authorities will be solely taken as authentic Date of Birth proof.

  • The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent from any Association of Indian Universities recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

  • The candidate must have completed Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology in 11th AND/OR 12th as applicable to specific boards.

  • A minimum of at least 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent to the qualifying exam. Applicants appearing for the final qualifying exam with the above-mentioned subjects and expecting their results by September may also apply.

  • A minimum total valid score of 1800 in SAT Subject Tests (Mathematics Level 2, Physics and Chemistry). Internet downloaded scores are not valid and the SAT scores have to be sent directly through College Board.

The candidates must score a minimum of 75% in their 12th and a valid JEE Main score is compulsory to appear for the counselling.

  • The eligibility to participate in Centralized Counselling for admission into M.Sc  2019 is to have a valid JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc) 2019 score.

  • Minimum eligibility criteria to apply to JAM is 60% or 6.5 CGPA for Gen/OBC candidates and 55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates in the Bachelor's degree.

  • Candidates possessing a valid JAM score will be allowed to apply for the programme in the absence of which candidature will not be considered.

  • The JAM score is the primary criteria based upon which the merit list will be framed.

  • Additionally, candidates have to satisfy the common eligibility criteria for counseling in spite of having valid JAM scores.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan / M.Des:

  • A valid GATE Score is required.

  • The candidate should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates. The above-mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute.

  • A documentary proof from the head of the current institute to that effect and Mark sheet/Grade card till pre-final semester should be submitted during document verification at the Reporting Center.
  • The eligibility of every program is defined based on certain combinations of degree-disciplines and GATE paper. The seat matrix and eligibility matrix will be published on the official website of CCMT.

  • Special eligibility criteria are applicable for certain programmes in a few participating Institutes. Eligibility shall not be checked during the registration process.

  • Candidates are required to ensure that they fulfill all requirements before filling and applying for such programmes.

Only applicants born on or after October 01, 1991 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board / University Certificate [Class X or equivalent] or any certificate issued by the Government authorities only will be taken as authentic.

Academic Eligibility

Applicant must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent [See Appendix I] from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities(www.aiuweb.org).
AND

Applicant should have completed successfully Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology) in 11th AND / OR 12th, as applicable in the respective boards
AND

Applicant must have secured a minimum of at least 60% aggregate marks (average of all subjects of qualifying examination taken together) or 6.50 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent in the qualifying examination. In case, CGPA on a different scale is awarded OR if only grades are awarded, percentage/CGPA equivalence provided by the principal examination authorities will only be considered. Applicants appearing for the qualifying examination with the above-mentioned subjects in the academic year 2015-16 and expecting their final results latest by September 15, 2016 may also apply.
